i think Hood did ok with what he had to work with but as a prequell to the Singer films it fails cause the lab scene looked nothing like the x-2 lab he found. and the bonding prosess did not match his dreams flashes. the Wolverine tags were wrong Bone claws were stupid cause x-1 showed his claws were man made metal implants.

Of course it was cheesy, its a superhero movie! Its not meant to have heavy dialogue either. Its meant to make you please your action side of yourself. Character interaction... he did get laid, shot, made-out with, have his body get torn through a spike... I guess just the basics. Hmmm... emotion. Don't all superhero movies have fucking emotion? All their ever about is them losing their family/friend/lover and then getting revenge on the "villian" who did it who usually has "superhuman" stuff.

Is it just me or do those claws look like shit. In X Men 2 and 3, the claws looks badass, but those looked really close together and not harmfull at all.
