Basically, Airsofters where this stuff for the same reason real soldiers do, it serves a purpose.

@xoxxStEpHenxox Well, in all honesty I'd say JG straight out of the box. The external build quality isn't as good, and the JG feels nowhere near as solid as the SRC but the internal's seem to perform better. One of my first AEG's was a JG G36K, and it's never missed a beat. Two years, and it's still my go to gun, not to mention the loaner that goes to mates when they come to try out airsoft, so it's had a hammering.

So, basically, JG.

@fearless100percent If it's an AGM STG44 then most likely yes, I believe it uses a Version 2 Gearbox, so many parts compatible with those should work.

I'm not aware of any drum magazines (they're not called clips!) for the STG44, there never was one in real life, so I doubt one would be created specifically for Airsoft...

"you're" is the shortened form of "you are", so is the correct form of the word for the context. "your" is possessive, so would be used in a sentence like "Oh, is that your book?"

So it's not preference at all, it's how the English Language works... xlazer6 should have used "you're", not "your".

@albertobebes the barrel is fine, the hop and rof have been sorted since this vid (this was the SRC's first day out), and the site limit is 350. As far as I'm aware, the only rifles allowed above that on UK sites are sniper rifles. And I like going dakkadakkadakka far too much to get one of those lol. For the record, compared to a lot of rifles on site, this has great range.

@Kelspook the place i play is 400fps indoor and outdoor in Connecticut ,USA. sniper is 500fps. i mean it goes far as heck if you upgrade the spring and barrel. that's all you need. plus, I have the same gun. @albertobebes Technically UK law limits any automatic weapons that fire pellets of any type to an absolute max of 370FPS...

Sites place a 350FPS limit as that's all that's necessary... At 350FPS you can go from shooting people at over 100 feet to under 10 without having to worry about power levels.

Albeit only being 50FPS more, I really wouldn't want to get shot by a 400FPS AEG at less than 10 feet...

Also, can someone tell me, If you are under 18, and meet the requirements to get UKARA membership, (3 games in -2 months) do those games you play before you are 18 count towards your UKARA (I know you can't get an RIF before 18 but theoretically can you buy one on your 18th birthday if you have played 3 games when you are 17. I'd advise playing your three games after your 18, but if you speak to your local site owner they may be ok to allow what you suggested...

(And by the way, it's three games in no less than 2 months, not 3 games in less than 2 months. So a game in Jan, Feb and March would be ok, but 1 in jan and 2 in feb would not be. The point of it is to show that you will keep coming back over long intervals to prove that you will continue skirmishing...)

@TobyW360 the knife is a rubber training knife, so can be used for knife kills in game if you are sneaky and get close enough to tag someone... the handcuffs are for show, the UNIT troops have them, so I got some for the loadout. Though we WERE considering cuffing Jai D to a tree and hosing him at one point lol...

@IBIZAIRSOFTKING Guns at this site are limited to 350FPS for AEGs, Pistols and shotguns etc, which is about 1.1 Joules, so a 1 Joule gun (328FPS) would be perfect here.

However, I don't know what the FPS rules are like at sites in your country, they may be completely different. The best bet is to find out from a site local to you.

@IBIZAIRSOFTKING Most sites are these rules, and i would also reccomend these, nothing under: AEG: 350fps, bolt action/sniper rifle: 450fps, AEG is an electric rifle, these should cost you $100/£100+ where as a bolt action, very powerful but only 1 per cock so maybe $80/£80+, use heavy ammo with snipers, happy buying :)

@oSAMKIDo i am just going to comment that you will be very hard pressed to find a sniper rifle of quality and power for 80 dollars in any currency, the minimum i would buy is a tokyo marui l96 which is about $309 on evike, anything under that usually has plastic trigger mechanisms and firing mechanisms so they are very likely to break, especially in colder climate.

@oSAMKIDo 0.25s are not heavy BBs... All Tokyo Marui guns come factory set for using 0.25s, and pretty much every other Airsoft gun shooting at around 330-350FPS would perform better with 0.25s.

If you put 0.36s in a 350FPS gun, then yes, you would really hurt the range, but 0.25s are only 0.05 of a gram heavier than a 0.2, which is just enough weight to make them fly straighter, but not too much too screw up the range.

@oSAMKIDo They're not particularly inaccurate, they just get affected more by wind due to the weight (but then, so do all BBs)

0.2g BBs are (in my opinion) best used for stock Tokyo Marui guns (all of which are around 280FPS) and pistols, which tend to shoot around 260-300FPS

@louisx99 i have never personally been to the site but i bet they stay their for a few hours if not the whole day, and yes there are many different game types which is basically wat the main concept of airsoft is. playing out different scenarios of war and its good fun

@louisx99 we're usually onsite from around 9 am to 5 pm or later. Lots of different formats to the games as we have a lot of diffenerent areas to play in- it's an epic site! Game formats vary wildly- from short assaults with a 1/2 hour time limit, to milsim style ones that can last all afternoon or even all day.

@Airsoft4EV3R barrel length has very little to with range and such. My P90 is just as accurate as many longer barrelled rifles. I love my G36, it's accurate and has execellent range on 0.25's but at the end of the day it comes down to what you like the best! Personal choice, so if you like the look and feel of the M4 go for that, if you like the G36, go for that. :)
