@IsaacBaranoff One, they are not Communist, they have no strict views. Two, they are with sony becuase they were the only label that would allow them to write what they want and sing what they want. So it's a necessary evil. And three, only Tim Mike and Tom were the, Tim, the guy on the stage, even broke his award on purpose. @IsaacBaranoff 1993 =/= 2012 They haven't made a new album in almost 12 years now. The reason independent bands are more prominent now is because of modern internet.
I have no problem that they used part of the system to spread their views and inform the masses. They had full creative control over their music. That's what I admire they fought for. Sometimes you have to use the system to beat the system.
Oh, and it's not like they DON'T give money to causes they support.

It's not like they were signed to a business that supports racism and war, now that would be hypercritical. And anyway most of their money go to charities. I have no problem that they used part of the system to spread their views and inform the masses. They had full creative control over their music. That's what I admire they fought for. Sometimes you have to use the system to beat the system.
Oh, and it's not like they DON'T give money to causes they support.

It's not like they were signed to a business that supports racism and war, now that would be hypercritical. And anyway most of their money go to charities.
