hey i am hoping someone can help me out here...everytime i go to apple's site and check the page for the in-ear headphones, it says "coming soon"...??
dude these are the old ones still. they cost around 40 euros. the new ones are not out yet and they will cost double price. i live in greece and here they still sell the old ones. i don't know if you can find them in the states or whatever
ya, like djalbert said, Apple have a revised version of the headphones coming soon, I would assume this is why they've taken the old in-ears off the website... apparently they've completely redesigned them so they fit much better and have much better sound (though unless you're a die-hard Apple customer, Shure make several models of fairly affordable in-ears with professional sound quality, e.g. the SE110's).
no, these were the old in-ears that were released quite awhile back... you're probably thinking about the revised ones that were just announced this past September, and those will be available later this month for $79+tax (apparently the sound/build quality is much better).
I'm not sure, honestly... I'd suggest contacting the website and letting them know that the headphones you received didn't come in the proper box and that they stopped working after using them. I've used mine for at least a good 100hrs so far and haven't yet had any sound-related issues.
well, these ones in particular tend to be a little uncomfortable when properly put into your ears, but if you can get past that the sound is excellent... as far as background noise, if you're listening to your music at low volume (less than 1/4 on the iPod's volume control) you're going to tend to still hear it faintly in the background, but any volume level over that will pretty much block it out.
sorry to hear that, though if it's any consolation, I've actually stopped using mine for the time being... not sure if you caught my review for these, but I had to push them so far into my ears that it was painful, not really a worthwhile trade-off for better sound compared to the regular earbuds.
can i have them
