Hi, I have a straight bolt with a coil wound around it.

If you tap the bolt with a magnet it generates a spike in the coils - I think it is Farraday's Law.

On the Ubolt I agree that it is the u bolt that is magnetized. Have you tried attracting something that isnt magnetised just using the "keeper"?

Magnets are made by passing electric current through a piece of metal. In this case, you used a battery with positive and negative 'coils' to magnetize the 'U' bolt, which magnetized the bottom 'free' piece of metal. So am not sure what the mystery is, or what he discovered that is not in any basic electricity text?

Electromagnetism is fascinating but if you really want to understand it, you should read the Feynman Lectures on Physics or any other physics textbook. This doesn't require any additional explanation than what we already know.

Think of the atoms as tiny electromagnets in which electrons are whizzing round and producing a magnetic field. In this case, by using a coil and the magnetic field it produces, we can force the 'atomic magnets' to align with the field. When we remove the field, some of these atoms will remain aligned this way. This property is called magnetic 'remanance' and the extent to which it happens depends on which material you use.

The flux 'flows' round the 'magnetic circuit'. Much like electric current, the magnetix flux will take the path of least resistance to return to the other end of the magnet (or coil). In magnetic circuits, we call this 'reluctance' to avoid confusion with 'resistance' in electric circuits. Without the extra piece of steel, the flux will try to travel through the steel, but much of it will be forced to travel through the air.

continued... The magnetic circuit is not complete. By completing the circuit with the piece of steel, more of the flux will 'flow' through the steel and very little will 'flow' through the air. The flux path has changed quite a bit, and this means that the flux passing through the pickup coil will change, inducing a voltage.

The magnetic's that are more interesting are the one's that are designed to operate Ed's generator device at Coral Castle. It appears he was using the "B" field on his generator and transmitting it into the ground through a large iron crank case. This would be consistant with other clues. The "B" field is at the center of a magnet it resist and repels the other two fields N & S that are on the same mass.

Neat. I'll tell you his biggest secret though. 12- and 12+ poles flux in strength when attached to a chainhoist antennae which feels the mag res of earth flux , 9hz back then, now it's faster, but no matter. The 12 points will contain 2 layers of 7 boson particles which each spin with eachother at a 90degree intercept of electron flow; this is defining a positron. It can both generate power, and be used to reverse gravity. My video shows some. I'll have a major update in a week or 2.

@BhdRoussos My coral castle video shows some. 24 counter rotating magnetic currents is the key because 12 of them pull particles out of a center, the other 12 do also but not as much. When earth's hz wave carrier zinewave moves to influence all magnet's powers, it forces a z wave to form since smaller electrons must remain in center on shaft as bosons are lost from spin. Bosons in concentrated sets of 7 are heavy ions and are slow positrons. If you are serious about building one pm me.

@BhdRoussos I did, in my 2 videos I made on the generator. One thing I forgot to mention is how the wheel is a cup, an overflowing cup , works as a reservoir for heavy ions. This would help it resonate charge against magnetic fields back and forth from the stone/hoist end point. You already know that +ion charge and magnetic cancel eachother out, all his gen.does is do that in increasing momentum 11 cycles a second (nowdays) 9cycles in Ed's time.

if you understand his teachings of creating permanent magnets with batteries, when you run electricity into an object, depending on the direction and face of the object you inject it, you split electricity into its magnetic state, instead of running the positive and negative individuals against eachother which is electricity, once in the object each individual pole goes in oposite directions creating the magnetic effect and giving it a magnetic feild of traveling individual magnets.

i don't get people bashing others trying to replicate what Ed did. I mean it's not like Einstein made Coral Castle. Einstein was not able to. So there must be something to this man's teachings. I read his book a few times now hopefully we will find out what it exactly was he discovered and move blocks of our own one day :) I do have difficulties changing my perception to magnetic current instead of electric current though. If you charge it attach a lamp to both coils and leave it hanging for a month. Removing the bar (one time) lights up the bulb.

ED says the current continues to circulate for years.
