  • HEYYYYYY PAUL WROTE THE DISCRIPTION!

    GREAT ALBUM PAUL!!!

  • I like it!!!!! Is it OK with Paul if I download it and use it at school for my ICT homework??

  • @McCartneyBeatlesFan

It won't matter unless it's being publicly exhibited.

  • Paul is A GENIUS IN YOURS COMPOSITIONS BECAUSE YOUR INTELLIGENCE IS OF A SINISTER HAND.HE IS A GOD IN PIANI A MAGIC IN GUITAR A KING OF WORLD ROCK POP AND ROOL.

  • Reminiscent of Leonard Bernstein for anyone?

  • Love your use of tonal poetry with the brass, Sir Paul! It seems like you are enjoying 'discovering' how fun it is, to write music for such an increadible instrumnet, as a full-piece orchestra--- COOL! =)

  • Great, my friend! Although it's necessary listen to the whole work, the promotion shows you will surprise us again, yes, as usual. Thanks!

  • just amazing! Going to but this!

  • GENIO de la música!!!

  • Great work Paul! Don't pay attention to the gimps comments. Most of them can't fart in tune. Please keep turning out the tunes will ya?

  • @Boggworks

I play a variety of instruments, but even I don't think I can "fart in tune."

  • Okay... Like the Titanic they too will sink. I can not save them...They will not listen.

Is that deep enough for you?

  • Awesome!

  • Grande Paul...

  • Excellent expression of the Sea..When you listen, you feel like as if you are sea yourself. Change of tones perfectly reflects the different moments at the Sea; stormy, calm and the mystery hidden under. The spirit of the deep Ocean captured in such a balleticgrace and exposured through music so exquisitely to be dedicated to the ballet world by Paul McCartney.

    Love from Kalamis/Istanbul.

  • @PAVI259 awesome! There aren't a lot of 7th grade Paul fans it's really awesome to find someone else in my grade!

  • Yes, Paul is like treasure, you'll never know what will do it. and this music is great, I don't know if ballet is the same, because they are some critic don't see any value in dance work. But the music is great, like Paul all music. I give to him benefit of doubt. May be the critics are influenced by a kind of envied, is not the first once.

  • Great !

  • Paul is genius. Everything he does is great.

  • This has made my 7th grade school year! I'm begging my mom to buy me this!!!

  • @graypaw83 lol im in 7th grade too! im definitively getting this

  • I am amazed!! This was so beautiful everything you do Paul, is magical this year so far was phenomenal! The Detroit concert and Ocean's Kingdom! You are just plain awesome

    Graypaw83 :D

  • I really like the feeling of the music. I want to dance (ballet). . I can see the ocean when I hear the music. You are magic Paul, everything you do is like gold to me; I can see the waves glistening in the sunlight. It is magnificant. I have pre-ordered the deluxe version from itunes and cannot wait to listen to the music as a whole. I am excited for you and I am excited to listen to it for the first time, all the way through.

  • This visualization makes orchestral music accessible in a way I've never seen before. With the "ocean" theme, every note in this striking armada of "citizen notes" is suddenly transparent and accessible.

  • Yes, I digged it.

  • I wish I could have been there tonight. Being a fan of Paul McCartney has opened my ears and mind to music I might never have listened to before. I would never have listened to Be-Bop-a-Lula or music hall or trance music like "Rushes" before starting to listen to Paul. I would have never appreciated the ballet, either. Thanks, Paul, for opening up my world a little wider than it was before I became a fan.

  • Perfect for a terror movie!!

  • I like this ballet more than the other classical works of Paul, it really move me inside!

  • Having viewed a few of these, I can tell some of those climbing scales are missing from view here. lol You can't fool me Macca !! lol Good goings on though. Been checking into YT users "musanim" and "smalin" video collections. Huge fan of Bach's and Beethoven's.

  • it's cool he knows classical music too, I bet it's from listen to bethoven endlessley, bach...

  • Saw the inexhaustible Sir Paul at Yankee Stadium on July 16th, 2011 -- fantastic. Look forward to seeing & hearing the new Ocean's Kingdom in NY.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • COME BACK TO CINCINNATI!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU PAUL!!!!

  • beautiful!

  • saw you at wrigley field, in chicago a couple weeks ago, it was THE BEST MOMENT IN MY LIFE !!!

  • saw him at wrigley field, in chicago a couple weeks ago, it was AWESOME !!!

  • Nice classic tune. Couldnt wait to hear the rest of the neew album...

  • Yeah. I could follow it quite easily. Thanks Sir Paul. Have a great weekend.

  • Yeah, appear to be a Yellow Submarine Part II, amazing! >> Paul - come back to Brazil - Visit Amazonas, I'll be glad. Help us to preservate the amazonic nature.

  • COME TO PORTUGAL PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!

    <3

  • It's awesome! I especially Like following along with the notes. Will this setup be available for the entire song? <3

  • Is a very nice work, I hope to listen the complete track, when is on the market.

  • The way you have the notes is very clever Paul!..Visually nice as well. I think it's so cool how you are exploring different kinds of music. Best of luck with Ocean's Kingdom. I can't wait to purchase it!

  • This is really, really pretty. My friends who live in New York are going to see it and I'm very jealous! Rock on Paul!

  • This song did for KING THE BEST WORLD O MORE PERFECT PROFESSIONAL THE UNIVERSIT I LOVE YOU THE SONGS WONDERFUL OF PAUL McCARTNEY FOREVER. A KISS NURSE REJANE OF CITY PORTO ALEGRE RIO GRANDE DO SUL BRAZIL. COMES MEET ME IN HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM SECTOR ICU

  • @nurserejane i LOVE YOU Nurse Ratchet!! :)

  • Hey Paul, sounds great, I got on well. The style kinda had me thinking a bit of Gustav Holst. Digital readout music? :) Yep, I gotta Logic piano roll as well. Gotta use mine more often. Sticking with the ES24 for now. Imagine you're using Kontakt with something like Symphobia or LASS. Both are awesome. I know Danny Elfman uses LASS. Gotta admit on a note to note basis they really nailed that ensemble sound with their divisi.

  • I'm not really into classic music, but I have to admit, this is wonderful!

  • Macca, that's great! I think the idea of the notes is fantastic!

    Congrats Paul!

  • Did I dig it? Is the sky blue? There's nothing this man can't create. Another masterpiece, my dear Paulie!

  • I really like this snipit. A bit Elmer Bernstein and western sound. My underwater ballet from "Pearl and the Pumpkin" used lots of harp. Check out "Coral Caves".

    Wonderful Sir Paul!

  • Congratulations to Paul for the new project and wonderful music and to the team for who created the cover, and this effect lines in the video.

I got to face the music, guiding me through the lines, and that's amazing, it can be seen when the same passage is repeated and when the notes evolve, really enchanting.

  • Amazing!

  • Hi Paul, Absolutely wonderful! Check us out LiquidIceEnt

  • I liked i GOOD JOB PAUL

  • So awesome!I'm totally going to try and get my school band to do a cover! :D

  • amazing! going to pre order it in mccarney's website! So exited!

  • The digital lights immediately caused the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind to pop inside my head. That's not a bad thing, since I felt the same sense of...wonder. The music is absolutely divine. All and all, I feel as though I've seen and heard something quite wonderful.

  • What a great idea. I want to sea/hear more of this kind of stuff. Thanks Macca

  • Paul you´re really great! thanks for keeping me surprising!!

    love you Paullie!

  • Stravinsky's Rite of Spring meets The Little Mermaid?

    (Just kidding. I love it!)

  • Yeah, the brass and percussion were easiest to follow at first...nice idea I must say.

  • I Thought the lines were lights of a submarine city :(

  • That's pretty cool, Paul. With your art school background, you're obviously also a very visual person. Do you see this sort of visualisation impacting the way you compose in the future?

  • @TaiwanPaul John was the one with the art school background. Paul is a self-taught painter, and a good one. There's a book with some of his canvases, they're very good.

  • I can't read music...but I love the music.....keep up the good work Paul.....

  • AMAZING!!!! I want more!

  • Sounds pretty intense Paul...can't wait to hear the rest of it!

  • Very cool

  • Great!!!! Inspirated by God to make us happy. I love you and your music. Macca forever. Kisses from Brazil.

  • "did ya dig it"

I can just picture Paul saying that with his white bracelets on and a cool sweater

  • Loved it, Paul!

  • No surprise. Like I didn't know Paul's the biggest genius on this planet already<333333333

  • Paul Can do anything, soon we'll probably see a hip hop album released by "P MAC" haha.

  • @MrIvanKite Lord, I hope not!

  • The lines are midi notes if anyone was wondering.

  • @MrIvanKite Looks like a Fruity loops's screen lol

  • Paul, you are such an inspirational musician and artists. I was able to follow the readout! Such a clever idea! I can't wait to here this in it's entirety.

  • I did click to watch the clip. I have to admit I was afraid because I really want to be surprised when I go to see the ballet in person on the 29th!!! I was able to follow along with the notes (the second time 'round). I think the cover design for the album is very creative.

  • Awesome! Be interesting to know what digital sequencer was used... Liked it though...

  • Awesome!!! Hope you are having fun!!!! :D

  • paul can i get a job? :0

  • is beautiful, very, very and very beautiful, I loved.

  • If you use any music program, e.g. Cubase SX or Logic Pro. You can follow the digital music score via the Piano sequencer. I thought the use of it to build, what appeared to be the city skyline, was pretty cool.

  • Great stuff Paul. I could follow along with the notes. But are you going to be stealing John Williams' job and doing movie scores now? I half expect you to next decide to take up tennis and become the top tennis player in the world. It's not fair!

  • Paul you will never disappoint, your record are legendary and will stay that way for centuries.

  • Sounds amazing! Thank you for still making music!

  • si no pueedeser come

  • I know this is for a dance or play but I can't help but think of Paul singing over it like in "She's Leaving Home" on Sgt. Pepper. Although lyrics for this would be very difficult.

  • I hear Jaws comin;-) But I love it,can,t wait to hear the rest xxx

  • LOVE IT! It reminds me of Firebird a bit.

  • The digital readout looks like those punch-cards early computers used, to read off the binary coding. To be frank(as opposed to Derek), it is difficult to relate the digital symbols to the music playing. The music sounds lush and expressive, whereas the read-out is sterile and obscure-interesting though...

  • Is there anything Paul McCartney can't do?!

  • It sounds divine! How on Earth do you do it?!

  • It's lovely Paul! Reminds me a bit of the whimsical score Sir George Martin created for "Yellow Submarine". Good on Ya!

    Cheers:)

    John Christopher

  • I loved, so beautiful, I love instrumental music.

  • Could follow it somewhat .. sort of looks like a midi file from my old synthesizer card. Neat idea!

  • I love it ! macca you 're a genius! you can do every kind of music soo perfect! give me a bit of your magic please :)

your my inspiration and hero! <3

  • @yagimccartney Paul, you have inspired me since I was 9. Now I'm in an orchestra and scared to death. Thanks. :)

  • Sounds awesome, the digital readout is neat.

    I dig it.

  • We love this music !!!

    REMOODS

  • amazing! brilliant!

  • Really like this idea. I write this as if Paul will never see it but imagine if he did? I always found some of Paul's writings were as good classically as Beethoven or Bach (She's Leaving Home for an example).

  • great idea with the light ray :)

  • Wonderful! Everything you did and are doing at present is interesting and will go down in history ...

  • Interesting & Appealing. I like the music and I like the concept behind the music.

Fantastic!! Relaxing music and interesting under tones. Going to be a great feature in full view. Wayne

  • ¡Extraordinario! Como siempre Sir Paul

  • oh yes a must have!

  • Epic. Great Paul... as usual

  • Love the preview. We are going to the Gala premier of the ballet. We are excited oto the cocktail party prior to the performance.

  • i like it.

  • Paul, I don't know what you are talking about. You can't read music so what's the point? Make some more mashed potatoes. They were good. Or a veggie lasagna. Upload that 2me. PS Sounds like Lawrence of Arabia.

  • @Phil1stalk actually, he's learned to do it over the years formally now. so you owe him an apology

  • Amazing. I think it will be as good as Standing Stone. I hope there will be a DVD or something so we can all see the ballet!

  • great! loved following the notes with the music

  • Wow, This is pretty cool.
