  • at the waterfall part (behind it),the skipper saw another boat and she said 'and if you look carefully at the water, you can see the reflection of the entire boat! say hi to your reflections! Hi!' and people waved at the other boat, and the other boat waved back... :P

  • i remember the first time i went on this ride...i thought all of the animals were real so i was ducking down the whole time;) awwhh memories.....

  • In disneyworld we get a guy selling shrunken heads :D

  • Yesss.. beautiful!

  • Well done ru42 --- thank you!

How much do you charge for a (less than 3-minute) promotional video for me?

    Thanks,

    ---Ken

  • I always loved that bird hanging high up on the sill while waiting in line.

  • okay, i swear to god. this. is. my. dream. job. [:

  • It was so much more kid-friendly without that explosion in the water :(

  • i love this ride one time our skipper drove the boat with her belly it was hillarious

  • How could anyone NOT love jungle cruise?

  • Do they actually have any REAL animals on this ride? Like, you know, fish or anything?

  • no, Walt Disney knew that having any animals wouldn't work; they would mostly hide away from humans, and they would have to be fed; and animals that eat tend to leave a trail.

the only real animals may just be birds passing over or ducks that landed in the water.

    everything else is animatronic.

  • @LemonCurdAddict1234 Sometimes the water fowl will drop eggs in the water, and you'll see fish, especially in the rivers of America. They have to empty and clean it every once in while. They used to have fishing there because of that.

  • @LemonCurdAddict1234 all animals are real except for the ducks swimming in the water

  • if nothing happens during the summer when i'm out of school, i'll go to Disneyland and ride this. looks fun. me and my mom are gonna ride it, my dad complained that his weight will sink the boat. XDlol i told him that he can wait for us.

  • "Theres something you don't see everday! But I do..."

I always look forward to that line when I go

  • This is my future job!! A Jungle Cruise Skipper!!

  • I like the barrels by the walk in entrance with rubber snakes.

  • i liked this cruise it was awesome especially the boat driver!

  • WOOOT! CAMBODIA!!!! My Beloved Country!

  • I loved this ride as a child.

  • This is great! i like how u faded out instead of just jostling the camera around

  • Wasn't there suppose to be a part inside a temple? Of course they could have changed things. I've been to Disney World recently but haven't been to the Magic Kingdom in almost 20 years.

  • My favorite part was always the Hippos or the part when the rhino had the guys up on the pole. I love this ride <3333

  • my jungle cruise on rct3 is different then this... my one has new scenes like a monkey rampage and a forbidden temple

  • Lolz. The famous Schweitzer Falls. Named after the famous Doctor Albert... Falls.

  • @WaddleBuff Hah ! That joke is as old as me. I can't believe they still say it !

  • I don't remember the piranha, were they fairly recent additions?

  • @chimera15 - they were added in the Spring of 05 in honor of the 50th Anniversary. That was also when the explosion in the water was added (just after the elephant pool.)

  • @ru42 Ah, interesting thanks.

  • @ru42 Didn't se your post. Thanx for the info, re.: the piranha.

  • @chimera15 My GF and I went late January, and the middle of March. We both noticed the piranha, so I would imagine they are fairly new. Nice addition. There is also a baby elephant standing next to Trader Sam--not sure how long he has been standing there--the elephant, not Trader Sam.

  • @chimera15 Yes, they were added a few years ago.

  • It was good the way the designers actually made this really it looks pritty good for families though!!

  • I showed this video to my younger sister, and she loved the monkeys, giraffes and zebras. I liked the pachyderms, and the lions.

  • great fottagee :D andd love the tiger, elephantss they lukss so amazinggg , ha the apes with gunss wel funny,i absoultley love the lions well im a big dan o liomns and tiger so.... :D

    pirhannas lukedd gud

    wow lukedd amazinggg :D x

  • i dont see any giant spiders?

  • im gunna go on this !!!!!! sometimes it scares me the fish cuz its like in the back of u lol

  • where did u find the audio in the beginning

  • The jokes are funny only cuz they're horrible.

  • @K9Negative Which makes them hilarious. I actually laugh out loud over these, and I've been told that I have no sense of humor. :)

  • Adventureland is my favorite land

  • my bird i clamed that bird in the line que tha first time i rode it

  • I always have a look at it happily.

I live in Japan, but I am surprised by Japan and a difference of jungle Cruise of American Disneyland.

I want to go out to play sometime.

  • i miss disneyland!

  • the cruise drivers on this ride have horrible jokes! nobody ever laughs!

  • @neogirl43 i laugh, you have to have dry jokes, nobody wants to swim in that water

  • i don't remember the piranha

  • @jad248 The piranhas were added in 2005 when they refurbished the ride.

  • The only part I didn't like about this ride was the gunshots used to scare away the hippos.

  • I remember years ago when the gorilla reaching for the banannas on the box was different. He was feeding a crocodile and the elephant next to Trader Sam was also not there until just recently.

  • monkey with gun

  • Ty for having this video online. The skipper that was featured in this video just recently passed away and is greatly missed by his family and his jungle cruise family. We're so glad that you captured him doing what he loved so much.

  • He did? That is so sad.

Even though this is from two months ago, his family is in my thoughts<3

  • @junglecruisemuse he sounds so young, what happened?

  • @junglecruisemuse That's a shame... sorry and RIP

  • @junglecruisemuse ;[ im sooo sorry. i hope you've been well.

  • It's not a boring ride if you get a funny tour guide.

  • I love this ride so much but my stupid friend never lets me go on any kiddie rides. She goes on Space Mountain the whole time and that's about it. Friends can be so annoying. >:(

  • OMG I went there when I was 7 and I loved this ride so much!

  • Thank you for posting all of these rides, we are going to disneyland in Jan. and my son with Autism has really enjoyed watching all of your videos getting ready and excited as to what he can expect. It really helps to know ahead of time what will happen. Great job!

  • At night, the animals look a bit more realistic. But in the daytime, its usually just a boring ride.

  • nuh uh! the crocodile looked real at first glance

  • The Jungle Cruise at DisneyWorld is almost identical. It has a part where you go inside a temple, but it doesn't have the piranhas.

  • 6:39 Morshu's MMMMMh!

  • Don't be a zebra. Solid advice.

  • they told me the animals are real

    or were real!

  • In the original plans, they were. But since live animals often wander where people can't see them, it was decided that animatronics were the best option.

  • @AdrenalineAddict610 This is probably where they got the idea for Kilimanjaro Safari in Animal Kingdom.

  • It kind of is, Walt Disney wanted the Jungle Cruise to have live animals which proved too dangerous, so kilimanjaro safaris was a way of finaly achiving that dream.

  • I was SOOOOOOO excited when I went there with 3 of my BFF`s!!! WE WERE SOOO COOL there and IT WAS SOOOO FUN when u will go there with your BFF`s!!! RU U ROCK!

  • the piranhas and Sam are definately new.

'I said Sam your wife makes a great stew.'

He said 'Yeah but I'm gonna miss her.' lol

gotta love the Marx brothers humor on these cruises.

  • ru42 i looove your videos! i always watch them from visions fantastic!

do you have the dock elements audio loops? and other thing... it has nothing to do with jungle cruise but do you have the block bash party music??

  • This is one of my favorite rides at Disneyland. The witt and humor of the tour guide, the amazing detail that disney enures in every ride, and, of course, exploring a new world. I love Disneyland.

  • Does anyone have a video of this with skipper Jeffery?

  • LOL ! The elephants. Take all the pictures you want, they've all got their trunks on. =D

  • I like to ride this at night! You get right on, they have different jokes, and it looks cooler!

  • although sometimes they try to go to fast.... we were going past the praying elephant and you know how its supposed to spray in front and then behind? he was going to fast and instead of hitting in front it hit me...

  • I agree it takes on a whole new atmosphere almost. Definitly a great ride!

  • I liked the Jungle Cruise in Disney Land better than in Disney World because it had more animals and because it had the whole body of the Bangle Tiger.

  • I noticed this one doesn't have the caves in Asia...is tht totally missing from the California version of the ride or did the videographer just leave it out because it's dark? Also are the piranhas new? Too cool, we don't have those in Florida.

  • the piranhas are new, since they weren't there 7 years ago when I went....and were there yesterday. We don't have the caves in Asia....I don't think...I don't know what those look like. Besides, this Jungle Cruise is all wrong anyway. You won't find lions, giraffes, zebras, or hyenas in the jungle!

  • The caves aren't really caves, but ancient ruins that the river goes through. But it's dark like a cave and there are cobras and tigers and monkeys in there. Maybe bats too. Maybe it was too scary for little kids and that's why they took it out in California? Anyway, you're right...really just the Asia part is Jungle but "Savanna Cruise" doesn't have the right ring to it...

  • I like this ride in the dark too. Is it jus me or does really feel like you in the jungle I aint goin to lie sometimes I get scared cuz the animals be lookin real sometimes.

  • This ride is better in the dark:) It is more realistic! And I get scared sometimes too:)

  • I know! The native headhunter people used to scare the crap outta me.

  • i thought the parana's would bite me X3 the alligators used to scare me (still do)mmm maybe this ride is why im afraid of alligators..

  • lol. Yeah it was a bummer the last time I rode on this these obnoxious girls kept saying 'I hate this ride!' or 'Ha, everything looks sooo fake'. They were annoying to everybody because they wouldn't shut up, and after they got off they were all likie, 'Let's go on something exciting, like Indiana Jones'. So I wanted to see how the people in the car with them would've handled it. XD

  • lol.that would suck i hate it when people do that,, the ride right now looks pretty real.or it did to me last time i was at disneyland. If its that stupid to them why did they go on? probably just so they could annoy people or get attention?haha

  • @TheDisneyPenguin I hate when people ruin a classic ride like the Jungle Cruise and you have to have respect for a ride that has been there for 50 years.

  • I know. :( Nothing can ever go wrong with Disney.

  • @TheDisneyPenguin That's terrible. Hopefully, they went on California Screamin later and lost their voices! People like that don't belong at Disneyland--they'd be much happier in any generic theme park, in line for rides with no class or character. Just like them.

  • @TheDisneyPenguin Pfft.. They just don't have any Disney inside them.

  • lol, yea da last time I went it was my friend bday and she had a yellow shirt on, da native headhunter told her ( you might want to cover up cuz da monkeys might think your a banana) I was cracken up.

  • i like this ride better when its dark outside

  • I miss the witch doctor from the early days, standing next to the pile of shrunken heads, where the cruise guy says, "His only aim in life is 'to get a head.'

  • he's still there, at the very end of the cruise. the tour guide will tell you that he has a special, two shrunken heads in exchange for your head!

  • SchmoozeMinkey

Guess it's time to go back and catch that one that I missed last time!

  • @pirateboy420: oh we will! xoxo.

  • Ah, Jungle Cruise...always a favorite.

That's probably the first time I've really heard the radio broadcasts. Either the line is non-existent and you zip right past all the queue scenery, or if you are waiting in line, you can't hear over everyone else.

  • can't wait 12 more days until I go to disneyland!!

  • im goimg friday the 12 13 14 15

  • i go to Disneyland all the time in the summer, and when i go there, a lot of good memories comes back, so Disneyland is my chill out place. I'm going in a few weeks and bringing my camcorder with me, so wish me luck.

  • Have tons of fun, God speed and be safe.

    Peace.

  • I heard it right before the natives jump you can hear someone say I loove disco!

  • i luv this ride once i went to the park really late and i was like the only kid there and they let me drive the boat for a min :)

  • one time we were on this, and the skipper noticed that the native said i love disco and said that we all do and punished him for wearing a skirt

  • Why did they ruin the falls?

They used to come down in three wonderful fans.

    Any ideas?

  • the most dangerous part is when you spot the red danger sign on the box!! (Gasp)

  • The animals look sooo realistic!! Everytime I go here, I go on every single ride going from Adventureland to Tommorow Land.......THIS RIDE ROXXX

  • i love disneyland. its brings back so many good memories. it truly is a magical place

  • my cousin works at disneyand.she is the skipper for one of the boats. ask for Lindsay.

  • Did you know that Universal Studios JAWS ride is kinda a rip-off of this ride??

    Well this is better

  • I hear ya! My parents took me to Universal Studios in 2007 instead of Disneyland because they wanted me to try and get into other theme parks!

Nothing will replace my Disneyland and that includes rides, shows, etc.!

  • like everything is a ripoff of Disney at Universal. the idea of flying over cities with bikes. sound familiar?

  • Yep...

    E.T. Adventure=Peterpans Flight

  • i like your vids RU42

  • What DIsneyland is it

  • disneyland is disneyland

walt disney world is walt disneyworld

  • Whateva

  • This is at the Disneyland Resort in California.

  • I think he means which Disney Resort is this. There is a Disneyland in France, Hong Kong, and Tokyo Japan as well as California.

Walt Disney World is only in Florida.

    This is in California.

  • I once saw a rat climb up a wall during the wait for this ride

  • man i m going to be there on april 24 for a school trip! i can't wait even though i have been there like a million times! it NEVER gets old!

  • ok ill shut up now :D

  • oh and just to let you guys know, my mom says if i get a job there and go everyday, i will soon get sick of disney, but wow is she WRONG! i will never get tired of disneyland!!!!

  • I hear you there too. I could never get tired of Disneyland!!

But just on the practical side, remember what jobs would best suit you. For example: If you're a Character you'll be in a costume in probably hot weather hugging kids for hours at a time. If you're in the Parade you have to practice dance routines and you'll be on your feet a lot. Or if you're in a restaurant you'll be inside bussing tables or cooking food, I think running the attractions would probably be my best bet.

  • and thats exactly the job i want! i will be an attractions hostess! :D

  • Sweet! I'm thinking either that or maybe a trolley driver or even a popcorn vendor, something outside where I can interact with people and help them. I know where most of the restrooms, shops, waterfountains and other important spots are. Not to mention the location of every attraction there!

  • Ooo trolley driver would be fun! i either want to work on jungle cruise or the storybookland boats! i just think narrating a ride would be so fun!!!! :D someday, my dream will come true! i guess 6-7 years isnt that long of a wait right? oh hey did you know about the disney college program? basically, when ur in college, you get to live in southern CA for 8 months and work at disneyland and take college corses all at the same time! and you can apply no matter where you are in the world!

  • Narrating a ride would be pretty fun; I sometimes trip over my tongue a bit so I'm not sure if I'd be cut out for that, but I'd love to try it. My fiancee' says he'd be good as one of the Pirates in NOS.

I have heard of the college program, it would be nice to attend and maybe that'll be in the cards someday; for now though I'm taking things one step at a time at home.

If you could, what character would you be?

And which are you most like?

  • hmm i would like to mabye be one of the princesses like Cinderella or Alice or Belle. i think that would be fun, because i would get to spend lots of time with little kids signing autographms and taking pictures :D i love being with little kids! idk who im most like, mabye alice because im always nosey and getting into other people's stuff out of curiosity!

  • *chuckle* I can understand curiosity! It's one of my shortcomings as well.

I suppose my character would be either Belle or Ariel. My looks relate more to Belle plus I love to read; but part of my personality relates to Ariel and I love swimming and Mermaids.

I was reffering more to the character books in DCA park where you can find out which character is most like you. I've turned out most like either Cinderella or Lady. (Lady/Tramp)

  • kool, ill be sure to check out the character books next time i go! where are they in the park? fantasyland?

  • Oh no no! They are in DCA (Disney's California Adventure park) in the Hollywood Backlot area there is an attraction called the Disney Animation building. Inside there's loads of TV screens playing snippets of Disney movies. It's beautiful! Well in there is a room like the Library from B/B with all these electronic books. Sit at one and Lumeire and Cogsworth will help you discover which Disney character is most like you! It's really fun! Have you been to DCA yet?

  • how could i have not! when you live in california its kinda a must-go-to place!

  • Too true! I've heard some people complain that DCA isn't very Disney-ish but it does have it's charms. I like Soarin' Over California a lot.

Well, since you have been to DCA, have you been to the Disney Animation building? And if so, have you walked through the Sorcerers Workshop?

  • yes i have! its pretty cool! DCA has more pixar then actual "Disney." I love the "Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, its not as scary since you dont have to really look at how far you are dropping! But of course, i would never pick DCA over DLR in a million years!!!! I just dont get the same magical feeling i do when im at DLR at DCA, if you know what i mean, and im sure you do, since you are just as crazed up about disney as i am! :D

  • I know exactly what you mean. Since DCA does focus more on California based attractions it does lack some pixie dust. I also see the Pixar more in DCA with the exception of the Nemo Subs.

Well since you've been through the Sorcerer's Workshop, do you remember the part called the Beast's Library? It was where the talking books told you what character you are most like.

  • I remeber seeing that! I was going to do that, but i didnt have time, we were just walking through! We went there on the last day of our family trip back in the spring of '07, and DCA was the last park we drove home. Iwill remember to do that next time, we're going back to DLR either in May or June! Im soo excited!!!! :D

  • Aww, I hate it when you run short on time and have to skip things. I'm sure I missed a few things because of time issues myself.

I wish you could take me with you!!! My Dad is talking about doing something in May, but he says he is (brace yourself)

    Tired of Disneyland!

I'll let you get over the shock first....

I wish I could go like....right now actually.

  • i know that feeling! everytime I even MENTION Disneyland, my parents get all mad, because i always beg them to take me! my Dad said in may we would for only like, a weekend! usually we go for 4 days, but since it would be a weekend, it would only be two(im hopeing we go on a long weekend :D)

  • its soo sad :'( i wana go now!!!!!!! we went over Easter last time we went in '07, because we only go every other year, because it's so expensive! i want to go on my birthday, but its during school,so my parents forbid it ( :'( )

  • I think that's a load of crap! Sorry for the language.. but really I do.

Your birthday only comes once a year and it should be special; besides don't they realize that you can get in free on your birthday?!? I mean there is things like the hotel room and meals and travel arrangements to consider but at least you'd save the price of a day's admission!!

But I hope you enjoy your trip in June.

  • thanks i will! :D and i know its crap(sorry for the language), because thats just how parents are sometimes. they just think its a waste to fly down for one day and then fly all the way back. you know how airfare is these days though, its pretty bad, so i dont blame them.

  • Yeah I can definitely understand, the extra luggage charges are outragous! My dad would drive us there but we can never stay for only one day so he would end up missing work....but maybe we ought to continue this conversation through personal messages or something; we've like added 20 something comments, to this video, just talking.

On the other hand, maybe we should keep commenting like this! :)

  • yea your right, im sure ru42 is sick of checking all these extremely long comments almost everyday, but then again annoying people is fun! :D

  • LoL. Yeah sometimes, but RU42 is pretty great for uploading all these great Disney Vids.

Let's just keep going till RU42 asks us to shut up. How's that sound?

  • sounds good to me. have you ever been to any of the ther diseny resorts? like the one in France of Japan> i havent, but its my dream to go to the one in France! their rides are SO different the the ones in the US! the Indiana Jones ride is a roler coatser, the hauted mansion is in frontier land witha whole different theme, and the layout of the park is different too! it would just be an awsome experience for me! :D

  • I know. I haven't been to any other resorts other than California and Florida. I was so glad to hear that they made another international one (Hong Kong) I would love to see the park in Paris. Did you know that the different parks have to accomodate for the different cultures? For example, I've heard that in Japan they don't have many water rides because the people don't want to get wet. At France the "no alcohol" policy didn't go over well because wine is a must for the restaurants there!

  • it makes me cry just watching this, thats how much i want to be there right now!

  • is this in paris????

  • audio???

  • If you are asking if there is audio with this video then the answer is yes. I hear it just fine. If you meant something else please clarify. - - RU

  • I'll be here in July and I'm about to chew my nails off, I'm so freakin' excited. :P LOL

  • is it your first time or somthing? or are you like me, crazy over disneyland and go crazy with excitment every time you go? either way, TAKE ME WITH YOU PLZ!!! I BEG YOU!!!!! :'( I REALLY WANA GO!!!!!

  • Oh, it was my old stomping ground as a kid. Today, you could blindfold me, spin me around and I'd still know my way around!!! I've lost count at how many times I've been, I ADORE that place. :D :D :D So yes, I'm crazy over it, too!!! C'mon, let's go!!

  • YAY!!!! ILL GO PACK MY BAGS!!!! :D :D :D

  • Take me too!!!

I love Disneyland so much I can't go very long without going into Disney withdrawl. I'm planning to apply for a job at DL as soon as possible!

I know DL like the back of my hand; once I had to run all the way from Main Street to Toontown to find Mom's keys. I knew exactly where to go so it only took me 5 minutes!

Oh! On Jungle Cruise, look for a cast iron skillet hanging on one of the boats, it has a red Hidden Mickey on it!

    Enjoy your trip!! Have fun!!!

  • your reading me like a book! i know disneyland like the back of my hand, and in 5 years when im in college, im gonna join the disney college program, and then a few years later, apply for a job as an attractions hostess!!! thats my future, and it not gonna change! i might even get married at disneyland too!!! i know i sound like a disney crazy person by saying all that, but its all true! im crazy about disneyland!!! whos with me!??!

  • I'm with you!!! All the way! I'm in college at the moment but it's not with Disney. :( But once I graduate I head straight to Anaheim and apply for a job there.

If I'm hired, I move to Anaheim.

If I'm not....... well, I won't think about that....la lala think happy thoughts.....

My Fiancee' isn't as crazy about Disneyland as I am, but he never went untill last December and he Loved it! If it weren't for the money issues we'd go again ASAP.

I wanna go back.... like now!

  • how come they don't use the top level of the jungle cruise que anymore? i went to disneyland before the indiana jones ride was built and the line was huge.

it snaked upstairs and down. also, the ride was longer.

  • they only use the top portion of the queue during high peak times to help the line stay out of the way of people walking through Adventureland.

  • im going to ride this ride in June, its still a while aways but i cant wait to go here.

  • which disney is this?

  • Disneyland in CA.

  • how is this CA, ive been there a million times and they never mention the piranha thing

  • The piranah's were added in 2005 as part of the 50th anniversary. - -RU

  • OMG! I heard the Native shout "I LOVE DISCO!". xD I wasn't expecting to hear that. xDD I just recently found out about that whole thing. XDD

  • the skippers always crack me up =)

  • They do? What is it about these skippers that always crack you up?

  • i don't really know....maybe bc they remind me of how much fun i have at disneyland =)
