that PTown guy is making airsoft look bad...I use real Magpul gear on my arisoft gun and 30round low cap magpul airsoft magazine....I live in Canada, real pistol can only be used in the range, so we play airsoft for the sake of it, but...he is seriously making airsoft look bad.....btw...some gas blow back rifle does kick like a .22 tho:P even tho a .22 is like a toy gun(never treat any guns as toys)

I am working for shooting academy and I've been met a lot of Airsofter. With respect I'd like to say most of them are wannabe who try to be so smart. I've seen 25 years old kid try to lectured my trainer who working in law enforcement for 10 years (he had experinced in real gun fight situation). After he listened to the kid, he turn to me and said " Those bullet can't kill you even it blast on your face , so you can show any drills you want. Whatever rules or bets it's just a game"

Nice tactical reload. Unfortunately, it doesn't go QUITE as smooth with a regulation agency mag pouch equipped with retention flap. Nevertheless, I think the retention feature is a must-have for street duty.

we airsofters claim to try and make our guns as real as possible and wear all the real world gear yet we continue to play with 300 round magazines. i have never understood this. lets play games where we put money on the table and carry 30 round mags and if you get hit you are out your money and game for the day. then it will become a real skill and thinking man's game.

A tac reload is a scenario-driven drill. If you're clearing a room and shoot 8-9 rounds, you don't want to move to the next room with half a magazine, you want to top off your gun. You want to holster your half mag for when you need those few rounds. This is a useful reload. Those who think it isn't end up dead with the slide locked back.

Last I checked airsoft toys have little tiny springs, lighter than the pull on my .22 conversion. They weigh less, the recoil is negligible, and oh yes, THEY ARE TOYS. Keep diggin' that hole, kiddo.

@PTownAirSofter hey buddy you are making airsofters look bad. they are right that in real life hi-cap mags don't exist. we airsofters should play some games where we only load out with only what you can carry in real life and see how a game plays out. i am also a little tired of these guys who rush a room or around a corner and just start shooting and hoping they get the other guy first. crap like that doesn't happen in real life. you get shot you die so you have to actually think.

Real steel is far more different than airsoft... u dont have 300 round hicaps in real steel or 30 round pistol mags... hence why u perform a check drill before advancing through a door or anywhere.. stop being a failboat.

You vision tunneled into the unreal mag capacity and didn't bother to care that in airsoft, your life is not on the line so tactical bullshit is only for show. Most people do not check corners, nobody is going to kill them for not doing so. Airsoft has a very different purpose than real guns so it's not like we are trying to take over your hobby.

@pingpong909 Finally someone who understands that the B and F together can mean something other than battlefield. Anywhoo, airsoft has two main characteristics.

- Replicates armed conflicts.

- Replicates real steel weapons. Important because it's home country is Japan, where firearms are illegal.

What creates this shitstorm we have today in the internet is that the two main components are mixed together. If the guns looked like halo like in paintball, there would be no such problems.

@pingpong909 Fagpul Dynamics basically teaches their own way of doing things. That is why you never hear that Super Duper Special Force Team Seven is using the way Magpul teaches. They had years of real combat experience put into their training programs and theory documents.

Using (or not) Magpul's way of doing things, which look way over-dramatic IMHO, is not related to having 300 round hicaps or not (that by the way, I despise). Playing airsoft doesnt make him more or less expert at things.

@pingpong909 i beg to differ, with proliferation and resurgence of gas blowback rifles with real capacity magazines and near similar internal workings, i no do check drills, but since airsoft has no cartridges to speak of, i do check drills after i pull out the magazine or else i will double feed bb's

BTW i have shot 5.56 m16 vn philippine army version.

and 9MM browning hi-power.

with those i know i can do check drills with the mag on.

An operator worth their weight would be able to make a mental note of where the mag that isn't full is on their belt/vest. Even under stress.
