  • I am korean!!! I have been trying to convince my friends to eat spicy bibmibap for quite a long time. i am glad that some american enjoy korean dish

  • Watching this while eating a bibimbap is just so much more awesome but, it did made my mouth water when you mixed the bibimbap, hearing the sizzling sound!

  • Dude I love this dish!!!! I had it fro the first time last weekend and it was so damn good!!!!!

  • love how u calculate everything around canadian currency. Probably because I'm canadian. =D

  • LOL 비빔밥이 맛있어요! 내가 사랑! i love the guy in the background LOL

  • food with burning sound....so cool

  • Fav Korean dish!

  • I think I wanna try it next time I go to Hana restaurant, in Brussels, since that seems to be good! Hana is a Japanese and Korean restaurant. Friendly

  • @NeptunianAngel I think it's really overpriced. Cheapest deal for 20 euros? wtf!

Asian food in Europe is usually expensive unless you buy it at a snack. Never been there though but seen the website.

  • bibimbap is nasty....it tastes like nothing -_-

  • @mztheechang Pfft, what kind of shitty place were you eating it at? It's freakin' delicious.

  • I fucking hate you! Wish I was eating that NOW!

  • actually the best thing against hotness is milk and other dairy products.

  • my mouth is watering so bad.. help!!

  • I'm very glad you enjoyed it!

I'm a Korean, and I'm living in U.S. for an year, but I miss Korean food a lot already. :(

  • @SuperBonsoir

    you dont need to answer!

what you have to do is just read and

    listen my comment !

by the way i wanna recommend kevin,

how about dog meat and flavor with bibimbap?

this is a speciality of myondon in seoul.

  • you like really this junk and pet food ?

  • @kingsburns obviously he likes it if he didnt he wouldnt be doing a video on it would he and stop being rude on the internet...

  • oooo i want bibimbap right now! xD

  • yum.......... looks sooooooooo gooooooood!!!!!! Now I want to eat bibimbap! lol

  • bring me a 1.5litter of coke in that dinner :D and Ill be happy :))

  • ask them next time if they have that brown-rice tea drink, it should cool your paleette :).

Or simply drink some milk, thus you will not feel the "afterburn" the next day :).

  • Did you bow afterward?

  • Acquired taste...

  • Looks yummy.

  • i went to a korean restaurant recently and i got this not really sure what it was. it was actually very good, but i overdid it with the gochujang, cuz i ate a little bit of it and it tasted really good, but i put too much on the bibimbap and it got too spicy for me to finish. i'm currently crazy for gochujang though and i currently have a 1 kg container of it and I'm putting it on everything i eat, mainly because I'm american and i didn't know how big a 1 kg container actually was, LOL

  • @LovelyxMoments try gochujang on hot potato. try it with regular pickle. even cucumber and broccoli. its the ketchup of korea! i can't live without gochujang. my mouth just salivates thinking about it.

  • i hate it when my rice sticks to the bowl cuz the bowls too hot lol

  • where is this?D:

  • i love bibimbop-preferably squid...mmmm

  • Bi bim bap is also eaten as breakfast as well in korea....im not sure....but ive heard it done....and it seems it is good for breakfast....yum...i want some!

  • The Korean who lived in Japan living in Japan made most

Korean food. Japanese-style dish and chinese food are

models. Korea ate the meal directly by hand a while ago.

  • @supector01 You're an ignorant twat who knows nothing about Korean food or culture or history for that matter. I recognize a troll when I see one

  • @supector01 Nice English.

  • people will kinda find you weird, eating food with a camera, well thats foreigners for you XD XD XD XD :) XD :)

  • look like fry rice after you mix it

  • Korean food is hot, and you're cute, Kevin!... Sorry, I'm a bit drunk?

  • @LaCelestia Korean food is hot....and thanks :)

  • i'll be honest i hated this -.-

probably because it was served on an airplane, when i was going to Seoul.

  • @smaviii nobody wins with airplane food.....unless you're in Business Class!

  • @BusanKevin If you sit next to me on an airplane, Kevin, I can eat anything!... I don't think I'm drunk this time?

  • @LaCelestia hehe..you are making me blush ! :)

  • @BusanKevin I'm blushing also, having teased you in public... I'd better stop. But you're really cute, Kevin! Respectfully, xoxo

  • @BusanKevin while on the way back from Germany, the menu they gave us in first class looked good. But the food sadly tasted just as crap as economy.

  • @smaviii - i tired it too on my way to souel, too blain

  • aw, you've got a lot threshold for spicy food. :) bibimbap isn't that spicy.

  • lol i usually put in 2tbsp of gochuchang in a bowl like that

  • @AdamTien I used to be tough for the gochuchang, but a few years away from Korea turend me into a wimp!

  • wait it ain`t that spicy

  • when they say the dish is spicy they mean VERY SPICY!!! and when they say its VERY SPICY they mean dangerously spicy!!! lol

  • when i said to korean kimchi was like fire in my mouth, they said "ah? is kimchi spicy? really? ..." then i knew it's gonna be hard... lol

  • Hmm, I'm hungry now.

  • LOL i dunno y i am watchin about food in the first place... maybe i'm hungry~ u eat deliciously wow u ate the bowl clean! [= ur so cool trying out so many different kind of foods! i need to be more like u!

  • fuck you

  • shezuan cusine is spicy aswell i find

  • yes it is for sure :)

  • i'm not korean, but i first thought that korean food is sooo spicy...but after eating it more often,,,its actually not...spicy chicken curry is more hotter....so maybe its' just your first few food tht feels like so spicy...

  • There is definitely hotter food out there. Thai food can make your head blow up.

  • as a Korean American.. Authentic Thai food is hot but nothings spicier than Extreme Indian curry. It makes the spiciest Korean foods look like a joke.

  • @yellowman88 Haha I believe you. I think it must take a lifetime of eating hot food to get used to that.

  • @yellowman88 actually yeah I have to agree, although korean foods like kimchi, yaki niku (i dont know the korean word) ramyun soup and other dishes do have a lot of spice and dried chilies and gochijan paste, indian dishes have more fresh chilli and therefore more of a kick.

As dried chili is so prolific in asian and korean foods I have to wonder as chilli was discovered in America, and is mexican what did asian countries use before the 16th century?

  • They probably didn't use chili pepper for any dishes until after 15th century or 16 century.

  • @yellowman88 yeah I've tried a non chili kimchi and i think thats what they would have used. Kimchi with chili is better. Strange that almost everyone thinks og chili as being a traditional asian ingredient but is really a mexican or north american food. I'd say its an international food stuff now.

  • well we didnt have rice here in mexico until about the same time and now look its a mexican staple. LOL ;D! we share we grow we make it our own!

  • Try Bhutanese food(from Bhutan). It's probably the spiciest food i've eaten. WAy spicier than Thai & Korean which i don't find to be spicy at all. But i love me some Korean food!!!!!!!

  • I find Bhutanese food way spicier than east Indian curry as well! But Bhutanese restaurants are prolly hard to come by in North America.

  • I have to agree with you on this one!

  • According to hot food fans, Indian and Mexican is often hotter than Korean. You should give those a try! Also, food from the Southern United States has a lot of kick too.

  • Indian food not so much but Mexican food just kills me.

  • I wanna go to japan!!!

  • i went to korea during the summer, and when I finally got to try this.... I had a Mouth Orgasm!!!!

  • damn it looks delicious

  • it looks good *.*

  • dude my mouth is watering watching your mix that.

  • ew yourself.

  • Yes.

  • I love this food the tastiest i have eaten

  • Agreed.

  • Oooo. That looks really good. :D

  • pork in this one!

  • yum...i love spicy food. one time i ate something too hot my lips turned too red and sensitive huhu lol i cant help it

  • if you eat it often enough you get used to it. I am no longer used to it....that's why I was sweating so much!

  • oh but the reason i cant eat spicy often its because i was close to this stomach sickness or whatever, too much of it aint good but sometimes eating it is ok and i love it =D i guess i can only eat a too spicy food once or twice a week =( if its too spicy hehe.

  • I always thought it was Bimbambop

  • my mom makes this when i go on feild trips.

  • if you do not like spicy one, you can reduce the amount of gochujang.

  • im korean but live aus and in korea i live in busan or in english pusan and i ate bibimbap tons of times

  • i make bibimbap in my house like once every two weeks, im half korean, quarter japanese and german.

  • you do that yourself ? +.+ german ?

so do you live in germany? :D

    i'm gonny come over xDD

  • no in america, california to be more exact. im more asian, but my grandfather was full german. im quarter german, half korean, and a quarter japanese. i eat korean food like everyday.

  • Honestly, I'm not sure about sanitation issues....I mean in Canada we had a major lysteria outbreak last year! If you buy in major supermarkets, the quality seems just as good as back home.Only problem is...beef is SOOOOO expensive in Korea and Japan :( Such a shame.

  • This is so random... I am about to start a job in Nampodong next week, and I had bibimbap on the plane ride over here... even for airplane food it was delicious. Now I have a place to look for when I get to Busan! Thanks Kevin- you're a lifesaver!

  • It's a small world. Enjoy your time there :)

  • Mmm that looked awesome.

I don't like food that's too spicy, i find that it really takes away from the flavour.

Looking forward to more food videos :P

  • Great! I'll have another one in a day or two!

  • Kevin makes the internets hungry

  • It's a video designed to inspire hunger! ;)

  • うまそう~

    I got hungry editing it!

  • that looks delicious^^

  • yeah...the sound of it cooking in the bowl is pretty amazing!

  • Hey Kevin, was this actually in Korea or is it like a Korea town where you live in Busan?

  • Busan is the second largest city in Korea. I used to live there, but left Korea 2 years ago. I now live in Japan and was visiting Korea over the weekend. So, I was eating the Korean food in Busan....which is in Korea :)

    It was good stuff! :)

  • OH! Busan's in Korea, how silly of me. Sorry, it sort of sounded Japanese to me. I feel kind of ashamed, I'm usually keen on these kinds of things...

  • Wow I'm jealous!! :D

  • Wow that looks good. And like you said hot. Even spicy I bet it was amazing. :)

  • Yep! I'm sort of a wimp when it comes to spicy food, but I really enjoyed it.
