  • Even though Nadal won this match and he played a phenomenal game to do it, I feel Roger let himself down by not playing a more "grasscourt" game. He has the tools to do it unlike Nadal but he insisted on getting into these rally's with Nadal, who is the superior baseliner. Federer can volley and serve-volley but he hardly did it and I think that's what he needed to beat Nadal. The previous final could have gone to Nadal also and Roger did not change his approach in 2008.

  • It seems to me that Federer doesn't really insists playing with his drive more often (Federes drive is stronger then his rever) & to do so he should try more play Nadal to his rever and not Federers rever contra to Nadal drive!!When he really does it he has much more possibilities to win but if i am not mistaken seems to be over confident to his rever that even if is amazing isn't so strong and Nadal takes advantage since he is left handed to play his drive to Federers rever..if u agree thumbsup

  • Golden Slam??? I just know the Superslam, its very hard to win! All Grandslam Tournaments in a Year and the olympic Gold-Medal in the same year!!! I think, just Steffi Graf managed that in 1988, its very very difficult, you need luck, too......

  • @Yervain That's called a Golden slam.

  • wtf was that shitty drawing at the end? lol

  • Nadal said once or a few times in 2009 i think or 2010.. anywheys he said laughing with sarcasm, that he dont know what will happend to him when federer sort of dissapears, he meant that Federer constantly makes him keep fighting to see a goal wich he has to reach.. and then he becamed number one. federer whent down to number 2-3 and now 4. and Nadal lost his will to win, this years he played like he was forced too.. not cause he whanted too.. i hope he and fed can come back nex year, would be

  • @DonChilenito awsome too see Federer and Nadal fight with Novak... at 100% would maybe be a new era of 3 players ^^

  • This game is overestimated truly. He who was governing grass lost. Roger was not the best in this game. He was the beginning of an age decline. And lateness of clear grass. The noisiness of Nadal in a ceremony is proving it. The flag of Spain is shaken. hangs and turns around a coat. runs up on a royal box. etc.

It was very good that Djokovic won Nadal this year. Since it proved that Nadal cannot win successively other than clay

  • @sportstennis1 he did. he won wimbledon in 08 and took it in 2010. he didn`t play in 09.

  • @bijoy1983

i mean 6 more titles than federer. and federer also won gold medal in doubles. so he won a major prize in two types of tennis

and you cant give me the nadal masters titles eaither cause federer has won some of those. actually federer has beaten nadal in doubles to get to a final.

the only reason nadal has a higher winning ratio is because most of time roger was good enough to make that many clay finals.

  • @bijoy1983

nadal is amazing is going to go down as a legend

but federer is the best of the best. nadal just didnt make enough finals to face roger in grass often or roger in hard court often.

nadal is at 10 and people think he can surpass federer who is 16. mainly cause nadal is like 25. federer got 15 by 27 and 16 at 27. nadal has got to go on epic clay court mode on hard court to surpass roger cause i think roger can win aussies next year or US.

  • @kumar01234 - he finished the season on a high for sure, but it was also the same time, that others were not playing(read rafa and novak to their potential) federer as his name suggests is like a merchant of feathers, smooth play and perfection, others are not the most elegant, but at their best they would overtake him, so the rest right now is going to help both of them, and may we have a great aus open :)

  • @bijoy1983

today i read an article about how nadal has to take a lengthy time off after Aussies due to a shoulder problem. with that kinda of problem pre-predicted it can make you wonder if nadal might pull out of Aussies sooner to not aggravtae the problem in time for the olympics.

i think its gonna be a good Aussie Open for a lot of people cause Andy Roddick is coming back to form. Andy Murray is peaking. Roger is rejuvented and Bernard Tomic is emerging.

  • @bijoy1983

I think Andy Murray will win Aussie Open or Roger Federer will Aussie Open.

and I think Andy Roddick might sneak into Semi-finals.

and I mostly say this due to the article I read. with the seedings Murray usually runs into Nadal and for some reason he chokes not in other tournaments but Grand Slams. with the Injury it might give Murray the edge to push through to a third consecutive Aussie Open Final.

Djoko is losing form after that year.

  • @bijoy1983

when he faces Roger in the Semi-final I think Roger will win. well if both make to Semi-final. Roger will win. but i wouldnt be suprised if a Roddick beats Djoko in quarters or a Veradasco or a Cilic.

so a potetional Murray vs Fed. Final and it depends on if Murray stops the Grand Slam choking jinx he has.

Really if Nadal injury is as severe as it says I think Mardy Fish or Jo-Wilfred Tsonga or David Ferrer can push on to the semi-finals.

  • @bijoy1983

and you got murray who is coming up. djoko who is peaking if he gets his nutritionist back. Jo Wilfred Tsonga who is emerging. its too much for nadal to reach fed. its plausible but with so many guys coming up and nadal even stating he lost a bit of passion for tennis can get you raising questions. fed. will probably be greatest of all time and will hold the record for slams won for atleast a decade i think

  • @bijoy1983 lol what golden slam you on about ?

  • @MrRF786 :- a golden slam is to win all grand slams plus to win an olympic gold singles medal, the privileged lot has only two names, 1.) Andre Kirk Agassi & 2) Rafael Nadal Parera, i hope you still loling, Merry Christmas or should i say Bon Nadal :)

  • @bijoy1983 LOL wasteman ? i am still loling and i always will be ;) yeah so what if hes won a olympic gold lol? keep up to 16 grand slams kid ;) pathetic. merry christmas to you to or shall i say vamos roger ;)

  • @bijoy1983 lol ur reasoning for rafa owning roger is pathetic. u base if on surfaces and whose beaten who haha. No mate, its about who's won the most grand slams, so what if rafa beat roger at wimbolden. has he won it as many times as roger has ;) ? no. Ultimately roger will always be the greatest. Yes everyone no1 falls one day, u say rafa took roger over ? could rafa stay up there for 5 years straight ? LOL yeah ;) keep up kid

  • @bijoy1983 30-year-old player now. now of Nadal and Djokovic is a peak. When Roger or Pete are at the age of a peak. They won some GS and won the also in ATP finals. Therefore they have 5, 6 champions

I know that the play style of Nadal or Djokovic is physical. But. slow grass and hard now. These are too advantageous to the play style of Nadal or Djokovic. In fast grass and hard. Two players of defense never continue in the final. Nadal should thanks. in the slow present surface

  • @sportstennis1 your just a fanatic Novka or federer fan.. and just talk crap instead of being realistic...

  • what a retard rofl
