I am Hungarian born but not a fan of this csardas music, however played the classical violin for 8 years and the way this is played in this video, it is false. Out of tune at many parts as well. I'd invite you to see the side selection and see the ensemblance of József Lendvay - Monti: Csárdás, on the right hand side of the bar. Now that is how Csardas is played the right way and in tune. This piece here sounds out of tune completely. Sorry to break it, but it does. Just hurts the ears.

i like both this video and the one by lendvay. SpecialTalent, whatever you might say, these violinists are both ver talented and plays it well. the purpose of music is to create beauty that is heard through the ear, and both lendvay and vengerov do their job well. if you don't like it, just remember people have different views on beauty.
