Men's Discus Throw (2011 IAAF WCH: Final, 30.08.2011)

I dont think there is a human out there that can throw over 70, maybe 72 meters without some wind or flight of the discus. Some assistance from the wind is required. So I think you will start to see more of Harting winning most of the indoor meets while Kanter has compatition with Malachowski outdoors. I think it would be best if Kater stayed outside.... I've even thought maybe Kater needs to refocus a little.

You must remember Gerd is an outdoor monster really. He needs wind. If you notice the diference in the tech. When the thrower is ondoors he must use all the wipe his body has to lanch out words. While if he was outside in the down rang wind he could lanch the discus more up word. Discs cant really fly to much inside like this.

i think gerd is getting burnt out . Im taking Harting as olympic champion, gerd kanter as silver, and Piotr Malachowski for bronze. Then its a race if gerd can get that WR if not, I think in the next two or three years, Harting will keep popping bombs and break that record.

@Robertboxerboy Watch out for Lawrence okoye in the next 5 years, he's 19 and has a pb 1m short of Harting.

@spt439 he threw a beasty 67 this year, ive had the pleasure of being coached by abi ekoku, geoff capes and tyrone swaray,

i was out for 3 years with a torn back muscle but i hiope to throw in 2016!!
