Just rented this from Blockbuster Online. Total Greatness. I read somewhere one time that Jim Carrey should play Plastic Man. After watching this again I agree that there could be no other choice for the roll. This Plastic Man even sounds similar to Jim Carrey.

@rocknrollhell Because Adam Sandler is terrible in movies, especially now that he thinks he's the next James Stewart and Gary Cooper (he remade Mr Deeds goes to Washington, and Click is a remake of It's a Wonderful Life).

If Adam Sandler were to be given the Plasic Man movie, he would take creative and directorial control over the movie, which is never good, especially for a character who starts out as a thief, only to become a hero. Sandler cannot pull off redemption.

There's a reason industry professionals gush over the chance to draw or write for Plastic Man: he's a great character. His comics are hilariously creative. In one panel, he could look like wombat, and in the next, he could be the Lincoln Memorial. A lot of comic books try to play a deadpan stretchable hero, but not only did Cole invent the concept, he realized immediately it was absurd and kind of disturbing, and subtly inserted that realization into every issue of Plastic Man.

I used to watch this when I was a kid. l aways thought Plastic Man was kinda creepy!
