I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. Please check out my latest one on some top 1930's movie star legends on trading cards. They include: Zasu Pitts, Carole Lombard, Clark Gable, James Cagney, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich, Maurice Chevalier, Gary Cooper, Buster Keaton, Lilian Harvey, Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford ....
Wonderful vid, and with lovely music that aptly compliments it. It's trully stirring and moving to see moments of a bygone era captured for posterity. In a way, one can't help but feel sad and nostalgic when seeing films like this, of an America that hasn't strayed too far from it's roots.
What lovely music -- is this composed by Carl Davis?
I am friends with the grandchildren of Miss Pitts. Her name is correctly spelled ZaSu and pronounced ZAY-sue. Of course, they only had to call her "Grandma ZaSu."
Quite melancholy considering that talkies put an end to several silent stars careers. Speaking of Zasu Pitts, I'm waiting with baited breath for clips from Stroheim's "Greed".
That was Harold Lloyd with his back turned to the camera
