it is pretty stupid.. but i think it all has to do with memory capacity or something like that.. like the ps2 and systems like that can only hold so much, and the ps3 and 360 can hold more than the ps2, so they put more in it.. but it does suck.. lol

Well, I don't know if they are the same, but about the prototype races, it's the same...
To enter them you need a car with a prototype mod package, for exemple: a car that goes from league 6 to 3, only has prototype package for league 3. A prototype car are those which are at it's max league with a prototype mod installed - you unlock them with prototype unlocks (that you win during some races)
lol your on leage 2 buddy you only need get to t leage 6 when you start that unlocking stuff. just go to the pad lock and click on them and you'll see a new kind of races and drifting to unlock all the prototype stuff.
you can only install prototype parts on the cars highest reachable lvl.. for instance: grab a car which max reachable class is league 5.. Once you are in league 5 you can install prototype parts on that car..
@mnemonic2002 well for you in league 5 on any race that has a "settings" seal on bottom right corner, win tha race and then go to customize a car and press the square button and then unlock. ur welcome. :)
