I think it makes perfect sense in the future to require a birth certificate in order to run for president for a major political party at some point in the campaign. I also think there ought to be someone to check the main candidates, say at the beginning of the primaries, to make sure.

What is this "Supreme Court lawsuit"? Do you know how the justice system works? You can't file something in the Supreme Court, it gets filed in a federal court. If you don't like the decision you can try to appeal in an Appellate Court, and if you don't like that decision you can then try to appeal to the Supreme Court. But the case would be dismissed and you would be laughed at before you ever got that far.

I think it makes perfect sense in the future to require a birth certificate in order to run for president for a major political party at some point in the campaign. I also think there ought to be someone to check the main candidates, say at the beginning of the primaries, to make sure.
This only makes sense to avoid this type of sideshow in the future.
Chris Mathews' strong desire to prevent such a test for constitutionality says much about him, and its not good.

I was able to use it to enlist in the military, but it did NOT! satisfy the DoD background investigation for my TS security clearance. How can a presidential candidate, wanting to be the commander in chief of the most powerful military on the planet, not have to produce the same type document I had to produce for a TS clearance? The very 1st act as president was to sign Executive Order 13489 the day after he was sworn into office 01-21-09, which sealed all of his records for anyone to review. Plenty of people go to school in the U.S. without being citizens. Kids whose parents are diplomats, in the military or work overseas go to schools in other countries without having citizenship in their host country.

If you look in the lower left of the document, the race states: AFRICAN. In 1961, the race would have read: NEGRO. This document is a true fraud and unacceptable. There was this segment in Loud= Dobbs tonight (with Kitty sitting in). They had to wack jobs that were not convinced that he was born in Hawaii even though Kitty gave them solid evidence.

But yes, White House, please release the most real and official-looking document you can find that proves Obama is a legitimate citizen. I still get e-mail forwards about crazy people who still believe he's not a citizen.

obama was born in usa, but when he was little lived and became a citizen of a country were he had to revoke us citizenship to be a citizen elsewhere {i think communist indonesa} and he was off us soil well over the 2 yrs as required by law to stay a us citizen...so yes he is a fraud but that is just the begining! have a nice day : )

His mother is an American, that makes him a natural born American citizen no matter where he was born much like McCain is a natural born American citizen though he was born in Panama since his parents are American. Obama at least has an American birth certificate.

every two years you must return to us soil {United States of America or embassy or military base/ship etc.} and you cannot renouns your US citizenship and get back natural born status, which he did in indonesa! so either way its true... otherwise there wouldn't be a lawsuit in US Supreme court currently as we speak! all they want is proof to the oppsite of the above content...and they tryed to do this well before the election and obama spend 1 million in lawyers to stop it til after the election

His father is Kenyan. He was too young to renounce his citizenship and did his mother renounce her citizenship? No. He went to school in Indonesia when he was 8 years old until he was 12. His Father is Kenyan. His Mother is American. He was born in Hawaii. I'm sure his Grand Parents announcing his birth in the local news paper is part of the conspiracy. Nobody can renounce their citizenship until they're 18. He went to High School in Hawaii. He was living in America. He's a citizen.

What is this "Supreme Court lawsuit"? Do you know how the justice system works? You can't file something in the Supreme Court, it gets filed in a federal court. If you don't like the decision you can try to appeal in an Appellate Court, and if you don't like that decision you can then try to appeal to the Supreme Court. But the case would be dismissed and you would be laughed at before you ever got that far.
