I would just like to point out that with the right skills, this weapon is probably the best in the game. The reason for it is that it hits 30 times each second and it can net you a critical hit EACH time.That means 30 chances for crit hits each second. In addition, the weapon comes with an unusually high crit rate.

If you level your unarmed skill and have high luck, you can kill pretty much any monster in the wasteland on very hard in a matter of seconds, which is completely silly. Check it out!

You know, I you go to tenpenny tower and kill a particular guard, you get a key which you can use on a compartment on a wall in the fenced area outside, but still within tenpenny tower which gives you the ripper.

The Deathclaw Sanctuary is the most overrated place in any game ever. There is like 10 deathclaws and they can all be killed by 3 shots from a combat shotgun. For anyone who is feeling too scared to go in here it really is simple. There is lots of loot to be had including a gatling laser called vengeance that does 91 damage just below full condition. There is also a cool pool of blood. xP

I entered the sanctuary near the end of the game, just before the final mission. The Enclave had already shown up in the storyline.

However, when i entered the sanctuary there were no Enclave to be found anywhere. I killed every Deathclaw inside and found an overpowered Gatling Laser on a dead raider but no Enclave anywhere... Explanations anyone? I did find other Enclave camps around the capital wasteland so they're not all gone or something.

Jack the Ripper is a Pseudonym (a fake name or ALIAS) for the man behind the murder cases of i believe 6-9 people all Mutilated by a sharp object. It is believed that a doctor did the them because each murder represented a doctors skill of slicing through tissue and veins at the time.

ya know you can just go to cannbery ( or however you spell it ) commons and do the quest where you have to stop " The Mechanist " and " The Antagonizer " from fighting. Find and kill her. youll get a weird ant suit and the ripper. :)

@DuhBiscuit Jack is really strong compared to the Ripper. The Ripper has 0 critical damage and is mediocre in damage terms but Jack can do critical damage. You need the right melee perks and Jack is absolutely imba. It is because the game seems to count every sawtooth as a single attack and so you can get a ridiculous high number of critical strikes.
