If you play thru Zelda:OOT you will every time not get to see some dialogue, because when you visit certain area and move on your quest, some craracters life is on different point then. You can not see it all once. Hint: A good example for hidden dialogue is to use mask and go to hard to go places, like a Princess Zelda...

@N64ZoraLink I'm pretty sure most people will have the boots before unfreezing the king. The only ones that won't are players who rush in to get blue fire and just go directly out again without exlporing the whole cave. In the video I do have the boots at this point in the game. So I don't see your point at all. Did you expect me to wear them at all times? You can't see my inventory here, it's on the bottom screen. But yeah. You can choose to get the boots before or after unfreezing King Zora.

If you have the red tunic before the Goron can give it to you, nothing new is said and the game treats it as if you didn't have one. You can only get a Goron tunic before due time if you use a cheat device though - not many game designers think of situations wherein people do things that are only possible by use of a cheat device.

@OtherRealmer I'm pretty sure it is possible to get the goron tunic as a kid, you just have to drop the bombflowers outside the goron shop with a lit deku stick then kill enough skulltulas so you can afford it (you could also wait till you get bombs)
