no, if you look closely there is an extra arm movement after the advance after the balestra. it is a very harsh call that was made a lot that day...

@GatameOne a balestra is a short, horizontal hop forward in which both feet land at the same time. and during this era of sabre fencing extra movements of the arm were seen as a missed attack. they are starting to move away from that trend but it still exists...

correct. the director thought he saw lopez go off the end of the strip. lopez did go off the end of the strip, but for some reason you cant see that for sure on the side replay so they just restarted the touch at the end
