It is really good in Arsenal, but I can't find anyone who sells it yet, and all of the ones off of dead guys are trashed to the point where the price for repairs is more than the gun itself.
You were going to do a Zone pose! XD I have my first-person key bound to numpad 7, third-person key bound to numpad 8, and freelo0k key bound to numpad 9.
4-6 shots on a pseudogiant with ANY weapon in ObLost on normal difficulty is very g0od. That's about what it takes with a Saiga 12C.
2+ shots on a dog with a Saiga at close range is ridiculous.
More than one shot on a rodent with 7.62R (or a shotgun) is absolutely lame. That no-scope SVD is a perfect "snork slaughter" weapon!
It is! But the scope movement stays, so it still moves around a lot more than one of your normal rifles. Also, would an SVD capable of firing in full auto be considered a battle rifle?
A battle rifle can be semi-auto, full, or select-fire, so a no-scope SVD would be a battle rifle regardless. There's a select-fire version of the SVU called the SVU-A.
Also, SG552 = yes, please. A perfect rifle for the Zone.

I thought the OL instal said it's most recommended to play on the highest difficulty for the weapon configs to fit accordingly.

I didn't know that's why they recommended Hell difficulty. I thought they only recommended it for the sake of insane challenge.
