On paper Duke, Arizona, and MAryland were the best teams in COllege Hoops that season. I remember after this devasting loss the Maryland team went into like a 3-4 week depression. They even loss at home to sub .500 Florida ST. It wasn;t until they had road wins at Wake and DUke in late FEB where they got hot and rode it all the way to the Final Four and a 22 PT lead against DUke in 1st half of semis until another great Duke comeback.
