You people are crazy. I love Maiden but Dickinson could never sing like this guy. Dickinson has never been able to carry a high note. This guy can actually sing and pretty well. His vocals remind me more of Freddie Mercury from Queen than Dickinson's.

I've seen Maiden a number of times. Most recently 2 years ago @ Blossom in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The place was sold out and that's nearly unheard of for an outdoor arena and a band this old. You know how normally you wear another bands shirt to the show? Not here. EVERYONE had Maiden shirts on. Literally. As for Dickenson's voice I totally disagree. He still sounds phenomenal although you can tell he's really working a helluva lot harder to attain the show quality of years gone.

@Ianandersonfan I think the reason why people say Halford,Fred and Bruce sing better than Tate is because they have been out longer.But there is no way.Geoff tate has a stronger and better range than all of them put together..For example Aretha Franklin has been out for years and is a great singer.But to me Whitney Houston in her prime has a better voice. Tate is a beast.His range is unmatched..Even people that do not like rock that I know love his voice and cannot stand any other metal voice.

Yeah, maybe it's weird, but the thing that turned me onto Queensryche was actually the progressive qualities of the guitar playing. It was shredriffic when it needed to be, melodic when it needed to be, and technical when it needed to be. But yes, Tate's vocals played a big role in getting them big and of course the quality of music wouldn't have been the same without Tate. But none should ignore how imazing Scott Rockenfield is and how underrated Eddie Jackson is either.
