The emerging church is merely rejecting explicitly what we have implicitly rejected for a long time, namely the word of God. How have we evangelicals rejected it? as is seen by our lives, our fruit.
so the Word was heard but as we never lived it because we never believed it (seen by our lives) it was not seen.
So, let us not be so keen to point the finger at the emergent heresy. they are merely more honest than us

It is all BAAL worship- New Age/Occult-Lucifer/Satan-Deception. I should know I used to be into the occult and New Age. Praise Yahweh in the name of Yeshua Ha'Mashiach for showing me the TRUTH and the only way to Salvation-It is FINISHED !

So, what you are saying is that merely intellectualizing Jesus atoning death is sufficient. Hm... that's why I'm no longer a Christian. Everything is down to dogma with fundamentalists.

My brother, don't be easily lost hope. For understanding the TRUTH is within the context of the WORD of GOD(Bible). If you are confused that's because Satan wants you to. Don't fall to his trap for in the end you'll still be the loser if you depart from the FAITH.
If you want to be save pray to God, confess your sins and ask JESUS to be your SAVIOR. Remember it's not the church, nor Mary, nor the saints, nor anyone created by God who can save you, ONLY JESUS CHRIST.

Too late, "Bro", I became an Anglo-Catholic Anglican... in fact I might eventually become Catholic or Orthodox... but for now I go to an Anglican parish and I've done all that heathen stuff you say I shouldn't do (Hail to thee, O Queen of Heaven). Christ is risen, though!
