I guess this is a good thing, but it's amazing that there are no videos of what happened that night.  Obviously, the WWF isn't going to show their tapes, but I'm suprised that no one snuck a camcorder in that night and videotaped all the matches or that no one videotaped it at home. Or, even that no one got a picture of Owen beginning his fall, like this guy did in the aftermath.

I wish that this never would have happened. Owen was originally going to be in a love triangle storyline. He said no because he said "It would ruin his image". And you cant really blame russo as this type of enterance had been happening for quite a while in various promotions..most notably sting. It was just a really bad accident.

@Tgogators As much as everyone wants Owen in the Hall of Fame Martha, his widower, won't allow it that's why it seems like he is being forgotten. Truth is she doesn't want him associated with wrestling at all, she has so much anger and hatred towards wrestling and Vince. Every time Vince tries to use his name or footage for some sort of marketing she warns him and WWE that she will sue. So a hall of fame induction seems very unlikely.

At this venue a month after the photo in question, he was 78 feet up and hit both his head and leg on the turnbuckle before hitting the mat during the fall. Though no one agrees if he died on impact or a few minutes later, someone said he saw movement.

He had night vision on to make things a little better.The promo was like 30-40 seconds long. But within like 6-13 seconds of it starting, you see a grey blob falling in the right top corner to the bottom right corner.
