  • mais il est mignon! :-) je veux porter son enfant!

  • Génial, et quelle voix magnifique...

  • il est trop fort~~~~~j'aurais aimer voir ce concert... quelqu'un a pu avoir le texte en version français?

  • excuses...j'ai trouve le texte est inclus dans l'info de video...merci bcp

  • My French isn't too amazing. Were there plays on words and such worked into the translation? Because the original was sweet and makes you smile but I wouldn't say it's funny. Is 'l'eclate' to come? And I thought 'crâmés' just meant burnt, why does that get such a laugh?

  • "cramés" means "burnt", but is colloquial/casual and is funnier than "charred" in English.

"L'éclate" is a sort of "slang" expression. "S'éclater" means "to have a blast".

A few expressions in this song are slang or sound funny, and I guess people just didn't expect Jay to say slang stuff in French, which surprised them. The surprise and excitement probably explain the spontaneous reponse from the crowd.

  • It was important to keep the same "tone" and the same "fun" feeling.

And if you search for the performance on the following day @ La Reine Blanche, you'll see it got way fewer laughs. The crowd was just more cheerful on the first night. I guess.

    Hope you enjoyed the song.

  • jetais au concert a la reine blanche!! vraiment trop fort!! ah la reprise de housewife trop "l'eclate" ! il donne la larme a l'oeil en tout cas tout auoong du concert!! a revoir et revoir encore!!!
