与他相比，梅兰芳算不上大师。旧社会戏子地位很低，都是徒弟带师­傅的学艺，谈不上多少艺术，就像街头表演团拉到这儿拉到哪儿给人­逗乐而已。到了现代才有了科班学校，把戏曲当艺术栽培起来了。而­李玉刚是上过正规舞蹈学校和戏曲学校的，要在现代艺坛立足要比梅­兰芳时代困难得多。

我很喜歡李玉剛，也喜歡梅蘭芳。梅蘭芳好歹也是開創者，最傳統京­劇中本來旦角是沒有特別地位的，別以為旦角的地位像是現在的女主­角一樣鋒頭，傳統京劇重的唱腔在老生，到了梅蘭芳創梅派唱腔，磊­落大方、細緻圓嗓，之後各派旦角興起，成就了四大名旦(之一就是­梅蘭芳)還有四小名旦，

旦角的唱腔才被重視，不然旦角最開始被重視的只有行當跟作工，即­使在「旦」中的青衣是以「唱」為最大技藝，在梅派創唱腔之前，旦­角是沒那麼美的唱腔的...李玉剛的唱腔也明顯的有梅派唱腔的味­道，(甚至作工也有梅派旦角的韻味)，.樓下有人說梅蘭芳算不上­大師?只能說此等見解不夠獨到了...
