Yeah i was in a 25 man group and a bunch of tards died in the first wave so me (dps), 4 other dps, a main tank, 2 healers and a caster deeps took him down alone. Took about 25 min but we got it good tanking on Bloodefence's part

Affliction locks own im always number 1 dps but instead of posting your portal on the floor put it on the ranged stage so after the dance you can just blink onto it and start dps faster and you wont get the debuff from the boss

It's okay, but you don't have to tank him and dance at the same time. You pull him, have the tank hold Heigan in the eruptions (HEIGAN, not the tank) with the tank himself on the platform's corner. The ranged goes to the far end of the platform and is safe from the casting debuff.

When it's time to dance, ranged to starts moving about 5 seconds prior.

Using in-game voice chat, hah. But I will say, just watching the first couple of minutes of this vid definitely helped out. The only wrench in this fight now is if lag hits, as it did tonight during the 10-man version. Strangely enough, the 25 man version didn't have the same lag. Bloodhoof's cursed, I swear.

Main points I found - zoom out yer view and run to the next spot when the after-spray is still floating in the air, ideally in the midst of it.

And, one more note - this vid was a help for the fact that playing a melee class in this fight can be tricky without knowing the dance. Obviously, seeing it from the vantage point of a caster shows all the little details.

I am that spec which Junior said in post below, I never hit for an Incinerate for les than 5k, thats with around 2k spell power with fel armor on and im in about 2/5 t7 and some blues and random HC epics, so its pretty easy. CoA + Corr + Imo = Incinerate Spam > re-do dots and away you go

i sugest u go a 40/21 or a 41/20 spec. Its a very good spec for me at least. keep imp out and spam incenerate and keep CoE, Corr, and Immo up. i crit 7k incenerate normal with 30% crit with imp out. Imp crits for 1k also

Our guild jusr cleared Naxx 25 man tonight. Kel'Thuzad died on 2nd try. Aside from that, Heigan is 1 of my fav fights here, dancing FTW!

As long as eveyone moves fast in p2 hes easy and you should be able to get the "Saftey Dance" achviement without much problem.

HAHA this is such a fun fight! Naxx is easier then kara imo yet the boss fights require alot more concentration. This fight and grobulus are the only two that gave our guild any problems.. Watch my video on patchwerk and see what you think :)

From what I've heard from people who did 10 man Naxx, it's fairly easy if you've got t6 equivalent gear. Makes me wonder, because on release, Karazhan was maddeningly hard (but very rewarding rewarding) and I wouldn't want my fired WotLK raid to be terribly easy =/

Naxx, we killed 3 bosses.

Heigan is hard for Melee b/c of the Slime Volcano in the floor. but if u know how to "dance" between the slime its easy peasy. i never died on either my Shammy or Mage. Insta casts FTW.
