@Rladrien drying the layers of the liquid latex will take much time. you can even do it in 30 minutes but it will not look good!

@calito29 you should put tape onto the back of the zipper teeth which have contact to the forhead. if you don't do that the zipper teeth will scrub o your skin the whole time.

This is amazing ~ The best and most dramatic I have seen. I am going to do this on Saturday night for a Halloween party but am unsure of the best blood to use to get this dramatic effect. I am assuming the Living Nightmare Gel Blood will work? You have to heat it up before applying it. What is the best technique to apply the blood to get this effect?

@MSProductionsStudio It's really just spirit gumming the zipper to the face, or latex and blending latex between the skin and the zipper then doing the lower face for blood/open flesh. Both of the videos I've seen so far show it off but neither blended the latex enough for it to look real. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just to showcase the effect. :)

@MSProductionsStudio Guess I'm a little lost by what you mean. You mean the zipper with the fabric already attached along the sides of the zipper? You would have to because when you spread the latex it gives you that "flap" and movement away from your face. If you try and just latex straight to the zipper you will pretty much have it glued, and probably covered with latex, right on your face. Find a zipper with fabric close to your skin pigment or all else a color that can easily be covered up.

Pretty much you just take a zipper, glue it on face with spirit gum, and then put fake skin on the edges of zipper to blend it with the rest of your face, and then just put fake blood in the unzipped part. It's simple :)
