how did you get free upgraded to sky couch please tell me how because im flying this in march soon,like what did you do ?did u ask the counter or what???? i wish i get free upgraded!!!!

@TheYay1995 i think the flight was a little empty and we checked in really early at heathrow and i guess it was just first come first served but we didn't ask it was just on our boarding passes.. good luck!:)

@doctorwhowatcher thanks, is that how you got this window seat, another guy told me that i have to pay for this thing called "the Works" in order to pre select a seat

@KrazyTrain18 i've seen you have to choose 'the works' ect on short flights example new zealand to sydney, but on the 777 flying london-la you just select your seat and you can select your seat afterwards, on the way out, london-la we got upgraded free for some reason to economy skycouch, so we had our original seat changed to a skycouch seat, but on the way back (la-london) yes we chose that seat online.

@doctorwhowatcher it says that the seats are confirmed on check in but may be moved due to operational requirement does this just mean if the flight is overbooked because as far as i'm aware wont it only let you select seats that others have not selectec yet ???
