I'm not a big fan of Tetsuya's writing, but his character designs are good. In Final Fantasy that it. Kingdom Hearts was lagging. So Even though I'm a bigger fan of Final Fantasy, I would say Disney. Kingdom Hearts story was pretty "blegh" I hope Versus XIII wont be shitty. He also wrote Advent Children which didn't make much sense story wise. And I played and beat VII.

But I have to agree with you on the fact that it was all pretty toned down for KH.
