I'd never heard the song until now. It's lovely and the slideshow was perfect. It was very moving. With firefighters in my family and many friends with local FDs, I certainly appreciate the lovely tribute to not only my favorite allt-time show, but to firefighters and rescue personnel all over. Thank you gagegirl51 for the info. We just had a big high rise fire here in Chicago this morning and 200 firefighters rescued all those people (in single digit temperatures). At this point, only 1 fatality and 11 injuries, including 2 firefighters but I believe only 1 of those injuries, a resident, is critical. My prayers go out to all. Once again, the courage and heroism of a firefighter is beyond measure. God bless them.

I absolutely love this show and they don't make them like this anymore...all those other medical shows should thank Emergency!! at the end of every episode because if it wasnt for them they wouldnt be here...Randy and Kevin actually went thru the training course themselves in order to portray their parts...you dont see that much dedication anymore...great show!! Thank god for all the firemen and paramedics who were inspired by this show.

I used to reenact some of episodes with my nephews when we were kids. One of them became a highway patrol officer the other became a helicopter pilot with the DELTA 101... and me? I'm still a big fan of Emergency!

I was lucky enough to be able to go to the 1998 Emergency reunion in L.A. and got to meet almost everyone. I think the only two that were missing was Cpt Stanley and Dixie! They were all amazing even then! I even got ot sit in the driver seat of one of the original Squad 51's! What a great show! I'm also a former VFF/ Lieutenant/ EMT-D, I'm sure it's mostly thanks to Emergency!

Nightwolfe, what does the 'D' stand for? Here in PA we have EMT-B(Basic)for BLS ambulances(basic life support), EMT-P(Paramedics), and EMT-I(Intermediate-sort of in between EMT-B and EMT-P).

Our Paramedics run on squads as well. The ambulances run with EMT-B(mostly just referred to as EMTs).

I am the same, Emergency really affected and inspired me too. I am a volunteer firefighter/first responder.

I'm 32 and been a fan of EMERGENCY! since I was a little girl. My mom,grandma,and I watched it in the 1980's when I was growing up. I would play Johnny or Roy and had a play phone I used to call Rampart to talk to Dr.Brackett, Dr.Early, Nurse Dixie. My dolls were the patients. I met Johnny in 2001, he was nice. I'm a fan of Robert Fuller and just got back from Phoenix, Az where I met him at the Festival of the West. He was super nice. Thanks for the video and a trip down memory lane.

I LUV EMERGENCY!!!!! i have all four seasons. the ending of the 4th season is so suprising. it isn't in the place of the paramedics except for 2 senes. its so interesting. EMERGENCY ROCKS!!!

I stop watching TV Land when they took it off. It's only so many Good Times and Andy Griffiths I can watch. Emergency is my all time favorite show. I start watching Emergency when it aired Jan 1972, my Dad had me sit down to watch it. I was hooked!! From that point on I wouldn't even go out on a date on Saturday nights until it was over. When I see these videos they make me think of the wonderful times me and my Dad shared. THANK YOU
