The Philippines Hispanic influence I find are separated in two categories:
The Spain influence - Manila, Iloilo, Zamboanga, Cebu. This is categorized by very European style of clothing (Maria Clara dresses, diamonds and pearls) and dances that focus more on "elegance" and "style."
The Latin American influence - the rest of the Philippines, except for tribal and Muslim areas. The Christian Lowland Filipinos are more fiesta oriented, the dances are fast paced and "fun." Vibrant clothes, etc.
once mexico gained its independence and techinically became MEXICO and no longer new spain, mexico city no longer administered filipino affairs so, in essence mexico didn't rule, if u want to put it frankly they just did spain's dirty work
philippines was never RULED by mexico, it was administered under the vice-royalty of new spain which just happened to be seated in mexico city, but was still under the spanish crown as was MEXICO. it's like saying the capital of california is sacramento, california still falls under american law, so to say filipinos have no hispanic connection to blood or culture is ignorant, and ethnocentric on your part being you are a mexican
LOl, Spain fucked the Philippines over and now all of you have problems and want to be considered "Spanish"... and you are not. Mexicans and Spaniards ruled the Philippines since the 1560's.
no shit!!!..phlippines never ruled by fucking mexican...never and i am spanish my family from madrid...yes philippines is spanish and chinese bt never ruled by fucking spain...the un educated country...very damnnnn one...excuse me..no fucking mexican ever ruled philippines...nice try...mexican fucked by spanish and stilll damnn people
I mean we are not a fucking Mexican..correction...Like me my root is from Madrid Spain and my father side is chinese...no matter what you say i am proud my self as Filipino Spanish Chinese...in a short word "Chopsuey" means mix vegetable that was good and yummy!!! hahahaha
well, i get your point (i'm flip myself) and it would be a lie to say that our culture has 0% Asian influence. i would say 30% of it is more Oriental and the rest, i would say would be the combined Hispanic/Latin whatsoever plus American culture. that's what makes me a proud filipino. being able to claim several cultural heritages. peace and happy new year to you.
I shall give back thine question,.. Why do Mexicans(cunts) pretend to have Spanish heritage?Where in fact they adopted the spanish language instead of their own. We,filipinos embraced the religion, the language, the culture. What is your understanding of the word "heritage" per se? I am filipino of Spanish descent, but i'm proud to be pinoy! the question is,are you proud of your own country?
Since when did this subject turn to my pride in Mexico? As seen on my page, there is no question. Let's get back to yours (which really doesn't qualify as a Qn).
It doesn't qualify because Mexico HAS a Spanish heritage, It is Something that is passed down from preceding generations; a tradition by blood.
Filipinos were ruled by people with this heritage - It didn't make them Hispanic. Besides you cannot compare Mexico and the Phil's. Mex. has been Hispanic for 500 yrs. The other was ruled.
a tradition by blood? in what means? rape?lol!!! know thine history! you said Filipinos were ruled by people with this heritage?to whom are you referring to? by what heritage? Mex.has been hispanic for 500 years? how about the Philippines? was it ruled in different way(s)? not hispanic itself?Did Spaniard ruled the Phil. in american way(s)? or hispanic way(s)? sentido comun por favor!!!
If you will stop pretending to speak old English, we can step ahead and finish this discussion.
The phil was ruled by people with a Hispanic heritage (by blood) whether Spaniards or Mexicans.
The philippines was ruled in a different way, which is manifest in that modern day filipinos are STILL MALAY. A small pop. is of Hispanic extraction, so what?.. That does not represent a country of complete Asian blood.
It doesn't matter if i speak Sheakespherian english nor Anglo-Saxon.Anyway,Is Mexico not a country in bondage also?lol!!! do you exactly know what you are talking about? you just quoted me by saying Philippines was ruled in different way,now site an example and be specific..Mexicans also doesn't show a pure blooded Spanish, many of your fellow mexicans look like malay nor native asians...
Mexico is not a country in bondage. The Philippines, since it really only copies other countries (elements of "culture") That is bondage. Mexico has a complete culutre in itself. We are European and Indian. We are fully Hispanic. We have Hispanic blood, the phil's has a tiny minority w/ Hispanic blood - that doesn't make it a Hispanic nation.
Oh! What an idiotic answer? What therefore is Mexico if it wasn't a country in bondage during Spanish colonization? co-equal with Spain?lol! Mexico over ruled in copying hispanic identities than Philippines,we are still using filipino as official language rather than spanish, how about mexico?is it using its own language?take a look at your own words,
"We are European and Indian. We are fully Hispanic".
Study a basic principle in Philosophy, you look so stupid and moron here..lol!!!
Filipino are really Spanish and Chinese blood...now real filipino are igorot and they don't dance a spanish dance. We just don't fuck buy Spanish we are Spanish bec philippines is our country we called ourselves Filipino and we are a fucking Mexican.
No, Filipinos are REALLY MALAY. Only a little population has Spanish blood, Chinese blood is more common. Spain and Mexico ruled you for hundreds of years.
There is a big deal about my question. You just disqualified it as a question due to your incapability of understanding a question.Did you(as mexican) uses,recognizes,and/or proud of your "true heritage" as mexican prior to Spanish colonization?
It is a question that can't be answered since it doesn't pertain to us.
Mexican heritage IS European/Indian, & for Mexicans there is no separating the two. It is one. Pre-Mexico is part of our history, but our European history has been grafted in as well. We are completely BOTH.
The philippines is a TOTAL different story. You are not understanding. It is a Malay country that happened to be conquered by Spain and Mexico and as such is NOT a Hispanic country, but a country in bondage.
it did pertain to you, your, country, and culture..or shall i say you're avoiding my question.FYI,the Philippines wan't occupied by purely malay people but prior to them were chinese merchants dealing with "aetas" a.k.a. Filipino natives. Mexico never counquered Philippines, take note of that.. Mexico is not hispanic country either, they just diminished their very own culture/civilization and proclaim themselves as hispanic in blood and/or in heritage...
I've already answered your question - that is not avoiding. If I was avoiding you, i wouldn't be writing back.
Yes, Mexico DID rule the philp's, which ciudad was it then? Manila? No. Mexico City, yes. Read your history. Legazpi left MEXICO to conquer it for Spain. Same difference.
You will not win by taking facts and watering them down. Mexico is Hispanic and retains native elements as well. The Philippines is Native with some Hispanic elements from their RULERS. NO BLOOD
You are indeed avoiding my question(s) through answering parallel to them. The Mexico never ruled the Philippines,if you said so then tell me when it started and when it ended?
And what do you mean by "SAME DIFFERENCE"..LOL!! You are contradicting yourself!!! TONTO!!! Have a brain pls!!! You are proud of your hispanic blood BUT YOU'RE NOT ASHAME OF YOUR IDIOCY!!!
ngaun na realize ko na npklaking pgkkmali na umaliz ako sa sining lahi..sa college nlng ul8 me mag dadancer..i miz dancing!wla ba video cning lahi jan?

Hmm, where was the seat of government - Mexico City.
LOL, you barely make sense - take an English class, maybe it'll help.
Mexicans and Spaniards sailed to the Philippines to conquer it... History is on my side, pal...
Who cares if you are Spanish?... You're still an idiot who needs to learn history.
