i remember when i watched this back in 06. Gold got on my nerves alot as i watched, but you know you got give him credit. even though he is way outmatched by the pros he finds a way to get under your skin and just when you go after his chips he flips over the nuts. thats what you want when playing tactical poker. i may not like his style but props to him for that main event win. plus that phone call to his father got me all choked up lol.

But if you are looking for a tell and you call the 2 cards you hope the other player doesn't have and he flashes one of them, you have to wonder his reasons. As I said, to me that's a 99% tell they are trying to bluff you. How much of a better tell do you need?

As for the pressure there must be at the final table, I can't imagine.....to me the big time is playing the $1/$2 no limit tables on PokerStars :-)

@mr2gti not really.. u can only use it against dumb players. if he really has the straight, why would he show the jack? i mean, if he has it, he wants to get paid off. showing his jack would scare him off so he wouldn't show it. players who are bluffing tend to behave more friendly than normal. this is a perfect example.
