But we are no gods, only people, and as such, we fight, we break, we fall, we rise, lose and regain peace and keep singing the song of the heart that wishes to lay down the swords.

beautifully said.  We can still spread the voices of peace and reason despite all who would silence them.

Don't be blind dear, nobody wants to silence the voice of peace. The thing is we all do all for ourselves and some people have different needs then 'ours'. We cannot satisfy everyone, so we do for ourselves - make art, feed those who are needy of food, spread love and beauty around and try to remain on the contributer side ;)

I believe art is the voice of peace ;) Let this voice be heard.

I still wish to believe in the power of love as a value of acceptance and understanding. However, it is the greatest business people that co operate to reach the best deal for all that usually make acheivements.

If only the right circumstances could have been created, there would be no war.

But I'm not sure why "they" want us to be on war and I don't understand why it's possible though "we" don't want it

It's a sad fact that a very few people "control" the masses. The government, the banks, the hospitals...money, power, health, education...to control these things brings us to our knees. If the people could take control again...oh what a world it would be. We decide what we learn, who we love, who we help...and got out of debt, etc...Too many people accept what they are told about themselves.

If people could ... that's the point, Aleisha, I've gotten a bit pessimistic recently, to say the truth. It's seem the Roman emperors were right when the said "panem et circenses" - give people just enough food to survive and entertain them and they won't complain ...

Scary, isn't it. They can get away with all the lying, cheating and stealing they want as long as we have just enough to barely survive...Well, I don't like it. Only the lions really survive and we need to be LIONS. ;)
