I have blown glass for decades. It was considered able to hold the light of God. Glass always brought the best out of people. So much tension on this page. Glass is a great place for sharing. It has by itself no politics. I have taught old, young, rich, poor, Christians, Muslims, and Jews. All a family in glass making and sharing knowledge.

The glassblowing part was very cool but I was also intrigued by the dancing-as-healing part. My heart goes out to those women who have been hurt so bad. They are so beautiful and strong.

What did the ancient Carthegenians use for fuel? You have to melt the glass at high temperatures, and I don't think there were any coal mines in North Africa. There aren't a lot of trees there either.

yeah, just because it's Africa, that's no synonim for desert and dust all over!, parts of nothern morroco I've been to, look like the swiss alps. Africa is a huge continent, and if left to it's own lead, it could easily feed it self. so all the mambo-jambo that happens there is still consequences from hundereds of years of non-african inerference.
