If you would seriously buy an iPad just for reading e-books, you're a complete idiot. That's not the sole purpose of an iPad. In fact, the iPad's screen doesn't even show very well outside or in bright light. Plus, spending $499 for that one option is pointless. Just get a Kindle then.
