It took 10yrs for Mercedes to introduce right hand drive DIESEL Smarts into the Uk and i now own Charlie a Black and Silver Smart Passion CDi and i love him to bits.
I talked with a smart rep at the philly show and learned a bit more. 60% of the dealerships will be a Mercedes dealer. Now I here 2nd Quarter in 2008. The big shots get first dibs on the car.
We were there. My brother and I each drove one. That car is a hoot! I have one reserved for now. Still anxious about warranty and confirmed price. I would like to get it out on the highway, too. Watch out, Yaris! = )
You buy a Smart because you want one.

I hope I can wait. That Yaris is looking real good. My Neon may not last that long. hehehe

I too would like a bit more of a "test drive", but you can tell the car is very well made.
