Would u put the Washington Capitals there now? For two years they have been on top of the East, and for two years they failed to get to the conference finals.
I don't see how you couldn't put the LA Kings in this video. They have been a team for over 40 years, have had over 20 playoff appearances, and still don't have a cup. And same with the Canucks, and the Capitals. They all have been teams for 30+ years. But then you decide to put the sharks in there?? You should have thought about it more...
@SharksEatDucks15 I thought about it A LOT before I made the video, jackass. First of all, READ the description box. The Washington Capitals got an honorable mention 8 months ago when I made this video. It's not my fault that you can't read, dumbass. Secondly, I can only fit TEN teams in a Top 10 video.
Furthermore, the L.A. Kings don't really "choke". Seriously, LOOK UP and LEARN the sports definition of the word "choke", because clearly you don't know what it means, you idiot.
@SharksEatDucks15 (continued) Just because a team makes it to the playoffs a lot, and haven't won a Stanley Cup, doesn't mean that they're "chokers" in sports. How many of those times were the Kings prohibitive favorites to win the Stanley Cup? How many of those times did the Kings blow a 3-1 series lead in the playoffs? How many of those times did the Kings get upset in the playoffs by a team that was very inferior to them?
Learn the fucking definition of a sports choke, dumbass.
@TheUltimatePhillyFan pussies? really? i mean the fuccaneers was creative but just because you could have just said Pussy Cats or something but wow....
Houston Texans...are a joke....Houston Oilers < Houston Texans < Tennessee Titans and what about the Minnesota Vikings 4 Super Bowl chokes? and who won the World Series 2008 :) and where are the Philadelphia Eagles?
@EagleKillerSince1960 the only 2 times (in the past 10 years) that the Eagles might have choked was the 2002 and 2003 seasons, when they lost the NFC title game with home field advantage against the Bucs and the Panthers, respectively. Other than that, the Eagles usually lose to better teams in the playoffs, or atleast teams that are just as good as them.
@spinnerNsports How is it a choke job when the Bucs DOMINATED that game? There Bucs defense suffocated Donovan McNabb and Brad Johnson/Coach Gruden were key in hitting the Eagles Blitz packages.
Eagles scored a TD on the opening drive with a good kick return, following that the Bucs defense only allowed a field goal. The Bucs were the better team ALL AROUND. Choke? not even close. There are AT LEAST three GUARANTEED hall of famers on that Bucs team.
What about the Dallas Cowboys. They have fail to live up to the hype over and over again. Take this season for an example and they choke as well. Romo's fumble and the playoff game against the 5th seed New York Giants. Plus they had the best record in the NFC that season.
@KCruz8 Just because you fail to live up to the hype or expectations, doesn't mean that you "choked". They had maybe two instances in the past 10 years where you can say maybe they choked. Just because the Cowboys are 1-7 this season, doesn't mean that they "choked". They're just simply a disappointment.
your forgetting the biggest chokers of all the cleveland indians. in 1995 they went to the world series and lost to atlanta, they went back in 97 and lost to the marlins in game 7 in the bottom of the 9th... in 2005 they lost 6 of their last 7 games and missed getting the wildcard spot by 1 game. in 2007 the indians had a 3-1 series lead over boston in the ALCS and ended up losing the series and missed playing in the world series. boston then swept colorado.. lol its hard to be a clevland fan!
uh how bout the colts. they consistently lose when favorite. Texans don't belong on this list because of their division they are in. they have never been picked to win the division. Denver has chocked in 08 and 09 but overall not. they made the playoffs in 04 05 and 06 and lost to indy two straight and the champs Pittsburgh. so two years don't Qualify a chocking franchise. also u could argue Green Bay on that list. but u would receive too much heat on that. anyways great video
@Maddogg2001 Colts easily won against the bears in the title game for 2006. Got to the super bowl last year. But they did lose to the chargers twice in divisions, once because Dallas Clark could catch every pass except the only one in the game that mattered. And speaking of Chargers thanks for including them no one seems to notice how they are always said to be "The best team in the NFL" and then go on to lose easily in playoffs. Everyone gives them a second chance but they still lose
@deadbob12344 I dont think i even muttered San Diego but i agree. they lose all the time. another team is Baltimore besides 2000 they are a super bowl favorite every year and half the time dont even make the playoffs or finish 8-8ish. but when they make the playoffs they excel at it. accountability
@Maddogg2001 How many times have the Ravens been true Superbowl favorites since 2000? The only years that I can remember prior to this one was 2001, 2006 and 2009. We had a disappointing post-season in 2006 and we had a disappointing regular season in 2009. Other than that, we have never been true, CONSENSUS Superbowl favorites in any year. We were playoff contenders, but not picked as one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the NFL. And the Ravens have NEVER been PROHIBITIVE Superbowl favorites.
@Maddogg2001 (continued) Also, there's a difference between "choking" and simply having a disappointing season. The Ravens rarely ever "choke" in the playoffs. Even if we have a disappointing year, that's not the definition of a "choke". In many of our playoff losses, we didn't even have home field advantage.
@Maddogg2001 Sorry, was talking about spinner. But I think the Ravens do not live up to expectations a lot. Not within the top 10 for choking though, unfortunantlythere are bigger chokes out there.
brett favre always throws critical interceptions.. like 3-4 years in arrow... im surprised you didnt put the philadelphia eagles on that list.. 5 nfc championships.. still no super bowl.
Heres my list and also i was raised in Cleveland. 10 Jazz 9 Eagles cant win the big game 8 Bills can get over the hump 7 Panthers they should of won atleast 1 championship 6 Chargers- like you said choke artist 5 Browns- Drive, fumble, 10 cent beer night, Art I hope you die Moddell 4 Mavs- great team but no leadership 3 Cavs- PLEASE STAY LEBRON 2 Cubs- over a century 1 Indians- Jose Mesa, 3-1 Lead against the Sox,
IM a DIE hard maple leafs fan. But spinnernet im going to say that This year will be differnet and the leafs will win the cup in the next 5 years cause we are kinda still in the rebuilding stage but if burke can sign kovy or get savard from the bruins for sure we are a potenial stanley cup champions
ill do a littl list for the hell of it 10. Ottawa Senators 1 final appearance in history with so many dominate teams 9.Toronto Bluejays Blame the Yankees and Red Sox for this one 8.San Diego Chargers maybe San Diego dislikes cold weather? 7.Minnesota Vikings You explained it well enough 6.Dallas Mavericks horrible luck 5.Atlanta Braves sad 4.Vancouver Canucks division champion almost every year 2nd round 3.Washington Capitals they get cocky 2.San Jose Sharks CHOKE! 1.Chicago Cubs 102
My Top 10- 10.) Detroit Lions (yeah they have no expectations... but 0-16 speaks for itself) 9.) New York Mets 8.) Washington Capitals 7.) San Jose Sharks 6.) Buffalo Bills (4 in a row) 5.) Cleveland Browns (lost 2 AFC Championships that they should have won in 1970s) 4.) Dallas Mavericks 3.) San Diego Chargers (Fuck You Nate Kaeding) 2.) Cleveland Cavaliers (See ya LeBron....) 1.) Chicago Cubs (1908)
Hmm, dunno if I can agree that my beloved Cubbies fall short of expectations... I mean, after 100+ years, we Cubs fans are just about used to waiting till next year at this point. 1989 was the most painful one for me though. I was pretty much braced for disappointment after that.
Carolina shouldn't be on the list because they've only been around 15 years. In fact, they have one of the highest winning percentages for an expansion team. The fact that we haven't won a Super Bowl in our first 15 years isn't that mind blowing, look how long it took the Saints to win.
The Bills had good teams in the '90s and good stars like Kelly,Thomas,Reed,Smith and Talley. Also the Music City Miracle against the Titans in '99 was a heart breaker for the Bills fans.
another thing. The capitals are slowly becoming chockers. they chocked the last 3 years, we'll see what happens next year. I also am aware of that chicago cubs drought. It would be cool to see them win a world series before I die. Think it wll happen ?
I totally agree with the Texans being underachievers. For the past few seasons, if they haven't beaten the Colts or Titans, their division rivals, they've played them very close, and they've beaten the Jaguars a lot lately, I believe, correct me if I'm wrong. I think they'll push over the mountain, and finally make it this year. This may sound ludicrous to some, but I think Houston could actually win the whole division possibly this year. This is coming from a die-hard Titans fan, for the record
I'm glad you put the Carolina Panthers on your list. My cousin always brag about them being so much better my team the Bucs. Panthers had a lots of opporunites to win a Super Bowl dispite them becoming an expanision team 15 years ago, they just suck.
Another Hockey Team that could be on that list is the Vancouver Canucks after Losing the Cup in 7 games in 1994 and after that theyve constantly won there division but never get past Round #2 not to mention giving up a huge lead last year vs the Blackhawks in game 6
How bout the Washington Capitals these last two years they have been picked by so many to win the cup and have chocked like this year for instance Presidents Trophy champs and lose in the first round first #1 seed to have a 3-1 LEAD and lose the series keep in mind they had a 3-1 LEAD and they have been to 4 straight game sevens and are 1-3 in them and the year before when my Pens won it all they chocked so yeah
OK Spinnernet good concept for a video but San Jose shouldn't be in there they should be replaced by the Toronto Maple Leafs how many times have they come short no making the play offs 6 times that spot goes to them remember losers since 67
@TheWrestlingGurus The Maple Leafs are a good choice. However, they don't even make the playoffs anymore. The last time that they qualified for the playoffs was 2004. I would have to agree with you, the Maple Leafs are a proud franchise, yet they haven't hoisted the Stanley Cup since 1967.
The Ottawa Senators are another team that could have made the list as someone else pointed out.
@spinnerNsports I got this one than the most overated peice of shit teams with overated and annoying player #1 could be the penguins gayest player Crosby or another #1 pick use Shaun Avery lol
@spinnerNsports I sincerely feel that if the leafs can make a trade to capture marc savard from the bruins (alot of rumous of this right now) and thgen maybe sign 1 decent forward in free agency that we will make the playoffs next year. we are heavily improved team from last year already with phaneuf our new captain, our prized prospect Naazem kadri coming up, and last year we were injury filled hopefully that doesnt happen again this year. Grabovski, kessel, and komisarek all injured last year
@TheWrestlin I was 13 in 67 my glory year since then nothing they don't even get close enough to choke and until the ontario teachers assoc. sells the team ; which they won't because they make to much money off them they will never ever come close to being in a position to choke re my user name
Hey Wat bout the San Francisco Giants Since the 2002 world series they always choke. In 2003 had the best record in NL 101-61 lose to the Marlins 3 games to 1, In 2004 lost the divison to the Dodgers everytime the Giants r always in the race they choke in the 2nd half of the season close to the end of the season
if you look at the Carolina Panthers they have been great underachievers. Anytime the media gets behind them they never do well. They always do well when nobody gives them a chance.
@masterofoverkill2 Good choice, I forgot about the Ottawa Senators. They're notorious playoff choke artists in the NHL. I'll give them a mention in the description box.
@BmoreNevermoreRRG yeah, the Capitals are getting there. one more choke job, and yeah, they will earn a spot. i know that you're a capitals fan, so good luck to them next season.
I think the Chargers in my opinon should be Number 1 because if you at it like this the Chargers are always one of the best teams in the NFL year after year and when they make it to playoffs they never win so they are in my opinon the biggest chokers in sports by far.
I'd say Denver's shortcomings are a little more significant...............they always have a decent season....then derail towards the end. I'm not even a Denver fan but they seem to do the same thing every year haha.
Ugh, well at least we weren't #1, and Im shocked. The Cubbies are always worse than we expect. I cant think of a year where we do better than expected, and its because we have unattainable expectations. We make a spectacle out of our pervious misfortunes and in my opinion psych out the entire team and the entire fan base. 1 batter gets walked, and we all freak out. Oh, Im so glad you had the Mavs at #1, because they are awful, no coach and no players can make them happen in the post season.
@nmc0162nd the Eagles certainly could have gotten strong consideration to make this list. however, there were only two years that the Eagles officially "choked" in my opinion....
the 2002 season when they got upset by the Bucs in the playoffs
the 2003 season when they got upset by the Panthers in the playoffs.
I never understand why people think Houston will make the playoffs in the past. The Colts were always going to finish 1st in their division and I never think Houston has a good enough team to make it to the playoffs.
good list, spin.teams like dallas and san diego usually have solid teams.but they just get cold feet and choke.i still have that feeling about the 2008 titans when they choked against baltimore
@CAPTAINDEGENERATIONX No, the Ravens only "choke" job was in 2006 when they lost to the Colts in the playoffs. Other than that, the Ravens don't choke. They usually just lose to better teams in the playoffs.
@CAPTAINDEGENERATIONX they finally won a playoff game, and got beat by a team that had home court advantage. the playoff win kept them off this list.
@spinnerNsports like the 08 championship game.... lol jk spin; it was an awesome game and i love when my steelers play the ravens... usually 2 of the best games of the season
One team you could have given honorable mention to are the Utah Jazz. The last few years they've had a good squad with Wiliams, Boozer, etc but now seems like their Achilles heel are the Lakers losing in 3 straight postseason series to them.
@BIgTommieCool the Jazz usually get beat by the better team, so they don't have anything to be embarrassed about. the Jazz don't usually get "upset". they're just never good enough to get out of the West.
U CAN LAY OFF THE MAVS NOW

Spinner, you forgot about the Ottawa Senators of the NHL, They choke it up every year
masterofoverkill2 1 year ago
@masterofoverkill2 Good choice, I forgot about the Ottawa Senators. They're notorious playoff choke artists in the NHL. I'll give them a mention in the description box.

I'm surprised you didn't put the Capitals in there.
BmoreNevermoreRRG 1 year ago

Cubfan2240 1 year ago
you forgot about the BALTIMORE RAVENS!!!!! hahahahahahahaahaha where are they at they belong at number 1
kingnaj92 1 year ago
@kingnaj92 nope. they rarely ever choke. they USUALLY just lose to the better team in the playoffs.

@nmc0162nd the Eagles certainly could have gotten strong consideration to make this list. however, there were only two years that the Eagles officially "choked" in my opinion....
the 2002 season when they got upset by the Bucs in the playoffs
the 2003 season when they got upset by the Panthers in the playoffs.

chicago cubs are the number one on this list

I never understand why people think Houston will make the playoffs in the past. The Colts were always going to finish 1st in their division and I never think Houston has a good enough team to make it to the playoffs.
josiah42792 1 year ago
good list, spin.teams like dallas and san diego usually have solid teams.but they just get cold feet and choke.i still have that feeling about the 2008 titans when they choked against baltimore

BALTIMORE RATS N JOE FUKED-UP ARE THE CHOKE MASTERS
CAPTAINDEGENERATIONX 1 year ago
@CAPTAINDEGENERATIONX No, the Ravens only "choke" job was in 2006 when they lost to the Colts in the playoffs. Other than that, the Ravens don't choke. They usually just lose to better teams in the playoffs.
spinnerNsports 1 year ago
@spinnerNsports what about the cowboys and tony romo?
CAPTAINDEGENERATIONX 1 year ago
@CAPTAINDEGENERATIONX they finally won a playoff game, and got beat by a team that had home court advantage. the playoff win kept them off this list.

@spinnerNsports like the 08 championship game.... lol jk spin; it was an awesome game and i love when my steelers play the ravens... usually 2 of the best games of the season

One team you could have given honorable mention to are the Utah Jazz. The last few years they've had a good squad with Wiliams, Boozer, etc but now seems like their Achilles heel are the Lakers losing in 3 straight postseason series to them.
BIgTommieCool 1 year ago
@BIgTommieCool the Jazz usually get beat by the better team, so they don't have anything to be embarrassed about. the Jazz don't usually get "upset". they're just never good enough to get out of the West.
