  • Beast

  • great player

  • I live in Gulfport,MS this guy came this city played with my uncle now I got some more motivation to be the next one to come this city

  • I like that Lil Move at The 1:21 Mark. Point to someone in The Crowd ("Hey Glad You're Here") to distract The Ball Handler and then quickly move in for The Steal.

  • I Didn't Kiss A Girl Until Age 25. I Have NEVER Had Sex.

  • WHO Am I?????

  • Mahmoud just a great player and a even better man

  • One of the best shooters every to play the college game. His pull up jump shot was money.

  • if you really would respect him you change the title to Mahmoud Abdul rauf because thats what he wanted

  • Best scorer ive ever seen in college...

  • Yeah dude could play.. but the weirdest choice for the dunk contest ever. He could barely dunk!

  • @baldheadkid He could get up higher than most 6' players

  • @youdontknowboutLSU i'm not cmparing him to 'most 6' players'.. i'm comparing him to the rim.. and the truth is even in his prime.. he could barely get up over the rim.. and compared to other dunk contestants over the years he ranks among the lowest.. but like i said, dude could play

  • @baldheadkid well, i'm not comparing him to the rim, i'm comparing him to most 6' players. he couldn't pull off Vince Carter dunks but he did have hops for his size. Agree, dude could play.

  • @youdontknowboutLSU ...wait.. is that you Mahmoud???

  • was chris jackson better than pistol pete @ lsu?

  • @streetking225 depends on how you define better different era three point line and shooting percentages win loss / lsu will ride pete maravich's legend like a horse forget shaq and rick

  • dude could ball...his jumper stayed WET! it was unfair.

  • The most highly touted freshmen guards, who in essence were one and done in college like John Wall, Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans...... their numbers don't even come close to the numbers CJ put on the board.

  • I wish everyone had a chance to see Chris play. It was indeed a treat. Thank you for alowing me to see this video. It brings back memories.

  • CJ makes John Wall look like Brian Cardinal

  • @massive100- Pete didn't play as a freshman, freshman weren't allowed to play back then. He played his sophomore year as a first year player. Chris Jackson was the best freshman next to Carmelo Anthony..

  • @Austinite1 , i'm sorry but Kenny Anderson hello!

  • Great uploads. A true college legend. I used to pretend to dribble and quick shoot like him when I was 9.

  • Best Freshmen to ever grace the S.E.C. Hardwood(thats right John Wall Fans)!!

  • @jtshape78 Lemme interrupt your opinion with my top 5 freshman.

    5. John Wall

    4. Jamal Mashburn

    3. Shaquille O'Neal

    2. Chris Jackson

    1. Pete Maravich " That's right John Wall Fans"

  • @MASSIVE100 Blake Griffin

  • @jtshape78 John Wall couldn't carry Chris Jackson's jockstrap in college basketball.

  • @jtshape78 The numbers he put up make John Wall look like Joe Average.

  • Yeah, now he ain't shit!

  • better crossover than hardaway

  • "Moma there go that Man"

  • @TheKelzR Well said, my friedn. Best by a mile. No one else is even close.

  • 7:10-7:16 was sick yo

  • dat man was lookin damn near unstoppable....

  • The amazing this is he had Tourettes Syndrome

  • This guy was unstoppable in college. He's the best college player I've ever personally seen. I didn't see Pistol Pete or Bird or any of the older guys in college so I'm talking about during my lifetime.

  • He was sick.......I loved his game....He got buckets.

Check out my basketball highlight videos.

  • my top 5 best college scorers 1 pistol pete 2 chris jackson 3 larry bird 4 dell curry 5 stephen curry

  • Though CJ was a great scorer his ball handling skills were superb

  • Chris was simply the best scorer I have ever seen in college. He had the whole package: quick release, killer crossover, 40 inch plus vertical, range and court vision. He should have been a star in the NBA.

  • is this mahmoud Abdul Rauf?, Or a Different chris Jackson?

  • its the same dude b4 he changed his name

  • When Chris Jackson shot the ball, no matter how far, you always felt he was gonna make it

  • Chris Jackson was the best in college. Who bounces the ball between their legs while doing a lay up? Thats mad crazy. Man, I miss watching this guy.

  • sorry you cant compare anybody to this guy, he was simply the best 6'0 guard to ever play college basketball. He worked on his shot from dusk to dawn, nobody had his work ethic. I watch his college games on dvd all the time.

  • jodie meeks reminds me of his style

  • Chris Jackson played college when I was in high school and I remember this guy being one of the greatest college players ever. No one could guard him, but it didn't matter, he could throw it in from any angle or spot on the court. The quickest shot release around. Similar to Chris Paul, but more dominating.

  • 7:14 is what i remember when i think about chris jackson at LSU. unreal

  • I modeled my game after him...probably the greatest college scorer besides Maravich.

  • Great college player and a very solid NBA player. He is one of the greats of LSU basketball along with Bob Pettit, Pete Maravich, Stanley Roberts, Glen "Big Baby" Davis, and of course the Diesel Shaquille O'neal.

  • 7:10 to 7:14...Tiiiimmmmy Hardaway style...nasty.

  • He was easily my favorite college player. I'm not afraid to say that I wanted to be a lot like him although I passed a lot more and shot a lot less. LSU had the best camp that I had gone to. You just couldn't touch Mahmoud. None of the Georgia Tech guards could hold a candle to him. Even now, no one is close in terms of scoring. They are good freshmen but still not even close. Tieuel Legacy! aka Shawnre'

  • without a dout the best scorer i ever seen in college

  • CJ was just injured most of his NBA career. broken bones in his foot spelled out the decline very fast. I wouldnt say he was as good as AI, but he was definitely as electrifying at his height for the Tigers

  • the great chris jackson

  • This guy had it all including hops. I'm sure the Pistol would've been proud.

  • 1988-1989 , the funnest college basketball season to watch. Chris Jackson was one of the reasons it was so fun to watch.

  • Another reason would be because of that illinois team where kendall gill playes (forgot their nickname... ill flying illinois or something like that)

  • THE FLYING ILLINI, You had a dope ass GEORGETOWN TEAM Mutumbo and Mourning first time together! , JAY EDWARDS & BARRY GOHEEN were both clutch shooters. It was just a fun time as a kid to watch hoops.

  • @SFFOOL76 Mo Gumbo!

  • what song is this???

  • Stephen curry is less athletic reincarnation of him.

  • damm i didn't even trip over that comparison, (that is automatic thumbs up)

  • chris jackson was a beast but was underrated in the nba nd yea lamarmc they shudda jus let him do his thing he wudda bin the AI b4 the AI lol

  • he could have done so much in the NBA if they would have let him loose like A.I. instead of trying to make him a true point

  • he plays in saudi arabia now in ittihad club they r the best basketball team in saudi and probably in socore..respect baby what u know bout that

  • Dude i'm a die ahrd LSU fan man! I should of gone to the National CHampionship, but my dad took my older sister instead, it was so gay, but Chris jackson is so beast, GEAUX TIGERS!!

  • he is from soria city

  • That's awesome! I patterned my game after Chris Jackson when I was in high school.

  • I thought i was the only one who did that lol i also patterned my game like him also and it was a unique style to try to perfect cause you had to have range and especially a quick release!

  • yep

  • @BOLO2220 Patterned It.

  • @ZenmasterOmega Patterned It.

  • Thanks for posting this. I grew up idolizing this guy.

  • chris was the best freshman ever

  • there was a guy named Rashad Phillips from detroit mercy played just like jackson.....he is now in Australia playing for the Perth wildcats follow him....AMAZING

  • Yes. I remember him. He is like 5 foot 9 I believe. He was listed as one of the best prospects in high school.

  • would've been cool if CJ had gone to georgetown as he had originally wanted but GT didn't want him as they

were already set at guards. he and 'zo.

  • Just to set the record straight; as a freshman he averaged 30.2 point per game and 28 as a sophomore. We all agree he could shot the lights out but have you noticed how well he handled the ball? His pocket was unpickable.

  • true ...he got out played in da tourney by tim hardaway. But props due though he was unstoppable saw him play againsts Loyola Marymount, Georgtown, g- tech..Chris Jackson was awesome with a capital AWE

  • no my grandapa is Dale Brown

  • my grandpa coached him at LSU this guy was a beast he was like pistol pete

  • u'r grandpa's wimp sanderson?

  • I mean Dale Brown

  • He prolly could've been more well known if he'd stay in LSU for more than just one year. He was the most underrated scoring machine in LSU back then. If he stayed for a few more years along with Shaq, A possible championship team could've been born.

  • Unbelievable pull up jumpshooting skills, a lights out scorer.

  • him 27ppg, wack o'neal 7-1 260, stan roberts 7-0 285 couldn't do squat in 89-90, couldn't fuck with uk

  • @kevin21470 STANLEY!

  • and to think he had tourette's... to bad he quit the NBA because of religious reasons

  • He was shunned by the NBA, he didn't just quit..and def. not for religion. After his contract was over, it was like a wall was up keeping him from signing with a new team.

  • Havent seen a guard that good since.

  • Dude was insane. I'm glad my first two years at LSU coincided with when he was there.

  • wish I would have been able to see him in person.

  • Second only to the pistol. Glad I was able to see him in person.

  • Probably the greatest college basketball guard that nobody talks about. He was unstoppable. Truly one of the elite scorers in college basketball history.
