Guys honestly most of us dont like Ai as much as we love our very own reiko, but there is a reasona see, what i think is that in the other two opening movies shes starred in, reiko doesnt give off that urban racing chick vibe as Ai does. Imagine Reiko walking in the middle of the city with a business suit or a racing suit and two cars pass by and make sparks. Plus reiko wont look good in real time gameplay graphics. She looks better in the custom smooth graphic movies dont ya think?
I think Ai Fukami is hot. While I agree that Reiko is better (shes still the heart of the Ridge Racer series), she doesn't deserve all the flack she got just for being the new girl. My only beef is that we didn't really see more of her beyond the games intro. The game itself isn't quite as good as the earlier ones, but the RR games are always fun to me. Even here.

If I had it my way I'd have her and Reiko Nagase both act as mascots at the same time. Never gonna happen though, Reiko Nagase is the icon of Ridge Racer (not that I've got anything against that)
@2POWERFUL If you watch the latest trailer for Ridge Racer Unbounbed, it seems they have 2 girls. The girl from the first trailer who got into the muscle car looked like Ai. There's a girl walking around a muscle car in the new trailer, and a girl driving a super car.
what i miss about the new Ridge Racer games (PSP ver, RRV, RR6) is that the mascot girl doesn't appear in front of the car at the start of a race. that was what was so cool about the first 3 RR games on PSX. this girl had no purpose in RRV. only appearing in the intro and the main menu. nothing more.

I like this kinda "remixed" version of the original song from the intro. And the girl isn't so bad, though yes, I love Reiko much better.
