Hmmm....I think what we're seeing is Toothless before the tail fin was damaged. :) And the fact that one of the shots is aimed at Hiccup's feet means Toothless is just playing around. IMO anyway.

what they did, because also if you notice this nightfury doesn't have the spotting that Toothless does, these are the beginning models, used for testing and the series, he's the begging model until after hes changed for the movie with the missing tail and skin coloring texturing upgrade

i love night fury!!! i love when toothless use his dragon fire..... its really rare than other dragon. toothless dragon fire is like combination with lightning and fire and when toothless blast it, it make like an atomic bomb explosion

thats why he is my favorite (and toothless also can beat the mighty big dragon [i dont know wat its name] on the last part of the movie). toothless really show that even its a small size, it can even beat the big size
