I like this guys honesty. POF is an ambigous site. It does fulfill lots of good needs eg meeting a potential partner/partners. It does link you with people you woulnt normally meet. Well well, Plentyoffish. I know alittle too much about that site. I go on it on and off. Some of the "Mods" there can be alittle on the shitty end of the shtick. There is alot of bias on that site. Alot of stupid people there that look down on others I've noticed and many crule and insensitive people there too. All you have to do is just read some of the profiles and the forums to see how out of touch many of many of them are. I think many of those "fish" are nothing but beached frogs!!

My friend had great success with it, but I could never get passed the fact that I really had no idea who these people were. It was downright disturbing how much attention the fake profile got. it was receiving about 80 emails a day and viewed by thousands of people in the same amount of time my real profile was viewed 5 times. POF is a sausage fest.

I have tried POF. I fully agree, and would like to add that I was in awe of all of the female profiles that harbored the words, "sarcastic", and "independant". After physically speaking to more than one of those girls I can say from experience that the sarcasm is really just a narcisistic attitude, and the independence is a result of the isolation from it.
