This is one those songs that you love no matter who sings it, but for me, The Four Tops couldnt be beat on this one, even though I also love the original version.I think it was the voice, that incredibly sexy and masterful voice of Levi Stubbs, that made it for me.Along with the Platters, I can listen to them all day

I can remember being in school messing with a girl name Renee Tibideaux. Used to say "Just walk away Renee" to her when she looked like she got upset with someone, was upset for whatever reason, so on and so forth. Had other friends doing that to her, too. Got that from my dad's Four Tops records. Hey, that was travail of being a pretty girl in the 7th grade. When I hear this song now, makes me think back to those times:)
