Is it possible that Travis Walton and his buddies were on a series of psychadelic drugs like PCP and Angel Dust, and then saw what they thought looked like a UFO from a hallucination? Here's an observation. Is it possible that Travis Walton and his buddies were on a series of psychadelic drugs like PCP and Angel Dust, and then saw what they thought looked like a UFO from a hallucination? Also, Travis probably was hallucinating as well and threw himself on the ground because he thought someone was attacking him, and then he blacked out. 1:50 is the thing that told me that aliens were in my house when I got abducted. I got up one night, turned my internet adapter on, then the radio I had on was starting to buzz, and then, I was picked up! typical hollywood though, adding to the story, check out the real Travis interviews... way more interesting than the film, esp seen as the aliens were humans in appearance, typical fear factor hollywood.

this part is fairly honest but it's a real shame/crime that they so misrepresented the onboard scene. he wasn't tortured at all, his story is much better. they looked very differently and there were two races, one of which was human. and he was taken out of the small ufo which was inside a larger ufo.
the real story is told in other youtube videos with interviews with him.
and fortunately he's quite intelligent and sober. probably no accident they took him

@DanFrederiksen Actually, I think the movie version is a lot more interesting. The movie on board scene is scary and thrilling. In the book,, as you know, Travis scares off some aliens, goes into a room with walls that turn transparent, & later meets some humans who later gas him. Not exactly cinematicly thrilling. Real shame/crime it is not. ;)

@DanFrederiksen I've stopped to think that it's real. And I DO think it's real. But, this is a movie. Not a documentary. Movies Entertain, not educate. And how is the T.W. story as any significant as any of the other alien abduction? Nothing really much happened to him. The only thing that's of any significance is that there were eyewitnesses and a manhunt. That's why Fire In the Sky (the movie) mostly stays on the ground. Plus it's common knowledge that movie-bios should not be taken as fact.

I'm very much into ufos and I had never heard that the story was any different than the movie. you can take some artistic license but not dramatically change the very key element of the story. it would be like changing all the president's men into a story with nixon and cia as the good guys. of course it's a crime

It's hard to believe any alien that can travel this far to reach us would do so to cause harm. If they advanced enough to create technology to travel light years, they wouldn't have the violent, hostile instincts that humans portray.

well you have to understand that the theory that aliens are from a different planet light years away is just one idea. there are plenty of other theories as to what their purpose is, where they're from and who/what they actually are.
one being that they exist on a whole other plane of existence.
another being that they're actually humans from the future who travelled back in time.... yes, far fetched and unlikely, but it's still fun to believe that we're not the only ones in this universe.

but as for the harming humans part.... the descriptions given is that it's more like experiments. think of surgery. nobody likes to have one because they hurt, but they end up helping in the long run. who knows why (if there actually is) aliens perform experiments on humans.

@javonne i personally dont think their intention is simply harming us for no reason, i think that if theyre abducting people like that theyre doing it for research purposes and to find out more about humans, (if they exhist i mean, nobody knows for sure) but mostly just watching humanity's progress.

This is the most badass alien abduction movie ever made. But it was not what Travis Walton claimed happened. Basically everything is pretty close to what everyone claims happened except for the actual abduction in the movie. Why are people not still trying to figure this out. While there is no reasonble explanation for the presence of humanoid aliens who kidnap people (and in fact it is incredibly far fetched once you weigh the facts) that use of light is a very interesting idea.
I wonder if it is possible to manipulate light in order to physically move things (given the technology is advanced enough) Usually light acts either as a particle or wave, depending on what test you perform. It can also be said that mass is simply an unimaginably condensed form of energy.
