  • iight bruh, you touch your intake manifold and your ac compressor after driving a little while and touch your radiator hose after driving... those things get hot as fuck, i mean i know shit about cars too but thats ignorant to say it doesnt get hot, i mean the the coolant temperature gauge starts at 140!, and thats cold!

  • @b1r11a1n i agree but this videos is old and i was young and stupid....my wires run under my brake booster now not across the air intake .

  • dats croose control! xD

  • I hope this is a joke or else you sir, are a fucking idiot

  • Wow man. You are an idiot. Just leave it to white people and go back to radioshack.

  • just placing my comment before the next upload of the fires aftermath.

im gonna wrap my positive wire around the fan clutch so it turns my engine into a giant magnet.

  • It shouldn't melt due to engine heat because there are much more sensitive wiring that is much closer to the actual engine block that stays completly intact.

  • So in other words, the only way the wires are gonna get hot is if you dump gasoline on it and set it on fire.

  • well you just wasted 8 mins and 44seconds of my life letting us know how the engine works and what gets hot and what does not. point and case made. the wire wont melt. imma tell you something different. THE WIRE LOOK SLOPPY. i work on cars all the time and install systems all you have to do is go get some zip ties and run it on the outskirts of the firewall OR DO YOU NEED ME TO MAKE YOU A VIDEO FOR THAT. it just looks alot cleaner is you tuck your wires.

  • this is good shit mane thanks for the info

  • this guy knows his shit. keep it up

  • that thing right heeeeeere............... is yo pretty boy swag.

  • LOL you just named almost all the parts of the motor NICE

  • i thought you were supposed to talk about the amp wire not the motor lol you tell em man jump on dat ass

  • god i love you

  • @racinjos come one come all meet the 16 year old mechanic!

  • nigga speaks like a dumbass but actually knows his shit! thumbs up

  • nice bro u know ur shit about cars man i was very impressed smartest black guy on utube here guy hes the shit

  • all you dumb asses that thought it was going to melt obviously dont know shit about cars if you knew anything you would realize that an air intake manifold doesnt get above 100 degrees and freon is ice cold if freon touches your skin you can get skin damage so whoever says its gonna melt go fuck you self and get a cars 101 book i knew this shit when i was 6 years old.

P.S. if you dont believe me i am a car mechanic so i would think i would know

  • why are all of you people hating on this guys vids, he probably is the only one who actually explains and shows how to fucking install an amp and shit, so calm ur fucking balls, i dont c a vid of ur setup and shit on youtube so go get a life

    THANKS FOR THE VIDS LAMBO4REAL

  • you sound so angry

  • what about if you were to put it under all the engine and stuff? would it be any better or worse? I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2003

  • this was a good brief fast explanation

  • I don't think it's going to melt the cable, but it looks like CRAP!!! Also laying accross the Engine like that you could pick up noise into your Radio system from the Electrical of the Engine, especally as it looks close to the Coil Pack. Engines normally run at like 192 Degrees I believe set by the Thermistate, the Fan on the Engine cools the Collant in the Radiator!!! It does nothing blowing on the Engine, it's actually sucking Air though the Radiator.

  • I ran my cables underneath the car with a conduit and drilled a hole up into the trunk - you could REALY shut some people up by putting a conduit on your wire that is touching the engine

  • the intake alwayz gets hot doesnt matter what car it is becuz the engine motor is always hella hot when your car iz turned on

  • Lol you would be a cool teacher.

  • Awesome sir! I enjoy how your shutting up the Nah-Sayers! haha And awesome How to also!

  • this proves you know what your talkin bout! love the install vid better than any other one out there!

  • wait till summer when its 100degre out there hot enough to melt u ass!!

  • did the battery in your camera die.....or did it overheat from being over the engine!

  • Have you tried doing the big 3 set-up?

  • ive done enough wire running, yes it wont most likely get hot enough on the manifold to melt the wire... yes it should be ran a different way to look more professional and cleaner....... who cares though.. if he shorts out his battery/amp/sub and blows it to hell.... let him its not your fix.

  • YOU TELL TELL THEM FOOS!!!

  • most of the cars are not like ford design . u no wanna be the reason for burn someones car. the way that u working on it's kind of dangures . like what i saied use a relay to cut the the electrecity cause when something happend u may not have time to open the hood or u may wake up on ur car ashes ..

  • you sound pissed haha

  • thanks bro you helped out alot !! you saved me some money hommie for reals

  • to be honest, i got insanely bored on your video pt. 1 of installing the amp. so i clicked on the link cuz i was bored lol. i'm on youtube trying to learn my way around cars cuz im tryin to get my shit together before i graduate this year so i can be a mechanic. but this video, i think without you realizing it, helped go over a ton of parts under the hood. so i gotta say great video. 10 out of 10. thanks bro.

  • @AndrewKeeley47 HA!!! ME THREE

  • Engine coolant isnt cold. Water pumps are cold. Engines radiate heat. Loose cords can get in unsafe areas and wreck things. There are way easier places to run lines thru that dont look as crappy. Fords are notorious for overheating.

  • Dam he told yall lol

  • intake gets hot sometimes, so does the compressor on hot days. just run the wires around the engine and not over it and dont have to worry about people commenting about melting your wires. and the fan dont cool your intake manifold, it cools the coolant (antifreeze and water mix) which pumps through your block and head and cools your block and head.

  • @Fr0z3nFr0g old set up ....and plenum does not get hot enough to burn wire ...and its not touching that ac compressor barley .....also i have wire running under the brake booster now ! not across the intake plenum any more and your confused about the antifreeze part .... yea your right about the antifreeze that it go's through your block and dnt forget that transmission ...those are water cooled as well and y would the fan cool something thats happening internally ...think about it

  • @lambo4real im just talking about teh fan cause you said it had a fan, although if the intake manifold got hot, the fan wouldnt cool the intake, just the block and head. the trans isnt cooled by coolant, the trans cooler has transmission fluid running through it, kinda like an engine oil cooler. but yea. i didnt see your updated video. nice videos though.

  • haha tell them peeps that they are all wrong and that they dont know what they talkin about.haha They thought the air intake system was tha engine.Dumbasses, dont they see the big air intake system with the pipes and there they were thinking it was sitting right on top of tha engine.haha keep on laughing at them. Thanks to your vids you posted up I learned how to hook up my 12" Kicker to my amp and stereo. Thanks bro.

  • hey do you got a vid showing your ride runnin good setup tho

  • maaaaann your video helped me ALOT thannkss i installed my own subwoofer thanks to youu :D

  • dam i wish i knew as much as you did haha, where'd you learn all this stuff?

  • this guy knows his stuff you are very knowledgeable

  • I dont see why everybodys all btchn over this setup.. A: it was just a temp. B: the wire isnt gonna melt it just looks bad.. but he fixed that with his 4 gauge wiring. and ya he has a wire still over it in the newer videos but hey, all he has to do is run it tight with the firewall with the rest of the wiring harness. other than that its dece for what im guessin is a starter vehicle experimentin with add-ons n customizing.

  • it's still probably not a good idea to have the wire floppin around across your engine bay

  • @pooper2000 no not really i have a 2009 dodge charger and i put it in the same way!

  • i dont give a fuck if the cable wont melt the install is messy and looks like shit

  • @XXCOLINXXX U look like Shit

  • @lordaboveall kind of like thid niggerd mum

  • @XXCOLINXXX The hell u tryin to say you Thick White Prick

  • @lordaboveall im saying him and his mum are dirty fucking niggers

  • nice explanation, i actually learned a few things about the engine :D

  • DAMNNN! he told yall

  • Ha wow ppl should f-ing wake up bec. fuck man nothins gettin really hot to even hurt the wire. shit ppl learn a thing about vehicles. W.E. hey lambo4real don't worry about thoughs fouls. your alright.

  • "Alternator, if you don't know what that is then you're just dumb." Classic shit. Get'em cuz. ROFL!

  • aye mane you shouldnt have to explain to these foolies do ya thing!!

  • @misterio5332 toutube? gee thx bruh !

  • @misterio5332 no!?

  • Im not be a jerk or anything at all just thought you might like to know that what you called a distributor is infact a coil pack. It is what replaced the distributor on later models.

  • @itaboyz2008 yeah naw u good son .....yeah i know your right umm yeah another dude said tht if u look down in the comment ....but yeah your 100% right doe !! Good shit ...
