smackroscoe ...It made it so much more useable ....before you couldn't load it out and not have the pack ride down in the back. And you're right, its more comfortable and the fatigue factor went way down at least for me...Thanks for watching and the comments..Take care!!

Heya CJ, I have a question for you. I have a Sabercat on the way and I was thinking the same thing you already did by adding the M4 pouch to it. Do you feel its in the way at all on the side strap?

05MagnumSXT ....Thanks so much for watching....The m4 hasn't been a problem and doesn't get in the way at all. I still use this pack every time I go out for a hike and I think its my favorite pack since I made the modifications

to support the load....Hope that helps...

bostos1966 ...Thanks so much and I got the suspenders from ebay at the Allegheny-Surplus-Outlet and the pouches are from maxpedition.... which are the map and compass case. I don't think they carry this any longer....Good luck....

Very clever. I like that you kept sewing down to a minimum. Wish you could do a quick 3 minute vid on the specifics of the pack mods with perhaps the map case removed as it would be nice to understand what you did better. THANKS! :o)
