  • A mountain hardware fleece...

  • What kind of jacket are you wearing?

  • Thanks so much for watching and the kind comments...

  • Counterbalance is key! You may want to put another water container on the other side to make it a more comfortable feel. Great video!

  • Thanks for sharing these nice ideas! I will adopt them.

  • GREKILOS ...Your very welcome and thanks for watching.....

  • Outstanding ! Thats one thing I like about this community,ALWAYS thinking, and doing ! Adapt and overcome ! I like the idea of either a stand alone pack or a very nice buttpack ! Awesome idea ! Thanks for posting !

  • ppspsd....Thanks so much ! it's been a great pack to use since the modifications .....

  • Not only does it look nicer, it appears much more comfortable. I hope Maxped, Tactical Taylor or somebody cops this idea for a new pack. Brilliant!

  • smackroscoe ...It made it so much more useable ....before you couldn't load it out and not have the pack ride down in the back. And you're right, its more comfortable and the fatigue factor went way down at least for me...Thanks for watching and the comments..Take care!!

  • Great Mod.

Modded my Sabercat the same and works a treat. Saves messing around with stiching. Thanks cjc5531

  • scratchliquid ...Glad it worked out..thanks for watching..

  • Heya CJ, I have a question for you. I have a Sabercat on the way and I was thinking the same thing you already did by adding the M4 pouch to it. Do you feel its in the way at all on the side strap?

Great review and you did a great mod to the bag. Keep the good stuff posted.

  • 05MagnumSXT ....Thanks so much for watching....The m4 hasn't been a problem and doesn't get in the way at all. I still use this pack every time I go out for a hike and I think its my favorite pack since I made the modifications

to support the load....Hope that helps...

  • @cjc5531 Thanks for the reply. It didnt look like it was in the way but I just wanted to make sure. I should have the bag in about a week and after I get it loaded out and teated I'll post up the review.

    Thanks again CJ

  • 05MagnumSXT....Looking forward to your vid as always.....

  • Hi CJ, this video convinced me to purchase the ex-military suspenders for my sabercat pack - and the results are brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing this info!!

  • oneillm3 ...You'll never use this pack without them once you try this...Thanks for watching

  • Very impressed with your harness setup and I have enjoyed watching your videos. I take delivery of a Sabercat next week and would like to adopt this system. Maybe you could also send me the link to where I can get the straps. Could you also tell me the names of the two handy pouches attached to the back of the pack. Thanks !

  • bostos1966 ...Thanks so much and I got the suspenders from ebay at the Allegheny-Surplus-Outlet and the pouches are from maxpedition.... which are the map and compass case. I don't think they carry this any longer....Good luck....

  • Great vids, but tell me, where can I get this Shoulder Straps. I can't find them, maybe you can send me an Link.

Thx and i'm waiting for your Next Vids !!!

  • @TheSierrasix ...Thanks and I'll send the link by message

  • @cjc5531 Can you send me the link also? I just ordered a Sabercat and want to mod it like yours. I'm also going to attempt carrying it with a Condor 2. Am I crazy? Maybe I'll post a video if it works out.

  • @thenetwerx ...I send you a message with the link and I think you may want to try out the sabercat first. It holds so much you may not want to add the condor load....Thanks!!!

  • Thanks for sending me the link to your video. I am impressed with the 'Y' harness you have got. I have had some issues with the rocket pack harness. I will look for that myself.

  • seanmulhall...The Y-suspenders made such a big difference...Thanks for watching

  • Really cool mods!

  • albi131....Thanks for watching...

  • man you make good videos !! keel it up.

  • carveawoodeneye...Thanks for the kind comments...

  • Great Modification, I think i'll go to the same. As I use it to carry all my photographic stuff in this little awesome bag, it can get really heavy!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • TheThiasAm...Thanks so much...I packed my tripod on the bottom after this vid to hike out and the Y-suspenders made all the difference in the world...

  • Very clever. I like that you kept sewing down to a minimum. Wish you could do a quick 3 minute vid on the specifics of the pack mods with perhaps the map case removed as it would be nice to understand what you did better. THANKS! :o)

  • mrmonkeyman50 ...Your right it would have been better in hind sight and I guess I got a little lazy and should have removed everything. I'll keep that it mind for future vid's that I do...Thanks for the comments and for watching...
