I love your voice! It is a bit more dusky and desperate than Stevie's which makes it better for this song. Bravo! The mix is very meditative much like the original. I always thought the song would benefit from more contrast between the verses and the chorus. The verses are such great tension builders but the chorus is not quite big enough to give you the release.
