one problem with alakazam is his defencis

it's really poor but it's speed and sp. attack are far to great to worry about that:p

anyone else notice the accuracy of focus blast missing all the time? thunder, blizzard and focus blast have a 70% chance of a hit but focus blast missed all the time and blizzard always connected but then again we dont know if sneasel was holding somthing to increase its accuracy or decrease its foes

it happens as you defeat a pokemon in a battle(most common in double) and a pokemon would attack(but of course there is no target)

@blijoms That comment was made before I played those games. Back then I was used to the FireRed/Leafgreen method where one Pokémon would just redirect their attack to the other opponent, rather than just attack thin air.

actully pressure is a very good ability provided your pokemon with it can take a few hits to captlize on it

okay blizzard and avalanche are two completely diff moves, and tho avalanche would be more powerful if u let the enemy hit sneasel first tahts a waste of its speed and it has low defence

trust me, I would be very surprised if a sneasel survived an uber's attack, especially if it was focus blast. Sneasels have trouble taking hits AT ALL! Better to breed a sneasel that knows ice punch, then evolve it into weavile. :)

Actually Pros don't meet Sneasel at all, since its evolution is much stronger and faster. And Trickroom is not that common to count on it coming into play and besides that Ubers are banned from the standard metagame. It looks like you don't know what you are talking about.

ok, torterra with hyper beam is pretty pointless, if you're gonna use a hyper beam, use frenzy plant to get the STAB from it.

STAB stands for "Same Type Attack Bonus" If a grass pokemon uses a grass move that inflicts damage the base attack would be multiplied by either 1.5x or 1.2x... not sure which it is though. the same is true for all pokemon types

1.5 if ur pure grass like shroomish and 1.25 if ur mixed like roselia which is grass poison

It is always 1.5. Always. Roselia gets the same multiplier as shroomish which gets the same multiplier as any other pokemon using their stab attack.

unless you've beefed your weaviles special attack,which is sorta redundant...its still not good to have on him. just cause a move attacks both people, doesnt mean its better :/ it just has a little more flexibility

I admit I'm no expert with the NEWER Pokémon games, but I do know what recoil is, and am smart enough not to use a recoil-inducing attack with a Pokémon that's about to faint (like Infernape). I'm not sure exactly what Jaymonius was trying to accomplish...

Infernape can't survive that turn., so he do more damage. He can use another attack, but he wouldn't do more damage
