hi, im making a program and i was wondering if you could help me. basically what i want is when i push a button a hidden list appears. and i have that working. i was wondering, how would i make it so if i push the button a second time the list disappears? thanks for any help.
Your video is great as well as the explanation ! but a little problem with My App inventor problem, Help Needed:
When I click on blocks editor .. It opens and flashes "Cannot assign requested address: JVM_Bind", application launch failure. I cannot figure out what to do , is there anyone who can help me with a solution please...
I basically copied your tutorial. when I hit the send button the email option pops up and I just click on the email not the gmail one...the email is filled yet the subject and the body information isn't populated ...any help?
@torqtorqtorq I apologize for not getting to this sooner but I don't really read YouTube comments at this time (Just not enough time.) Cant, and cant. :(
Great tutorial. The only thing I had to add was the & symbol at the end of the subject text in the URI. I spent all weekend trying to do this and you solved the problem for me. Thanks!
i can't get mine to work...

I'm sure you've answered this somewhere...
But you don't explain where you got the "set global body text" block from - I can't seem to find it in the Blocks Editor. Any help appreciated!

Thanks a ton for the help! Now I just need to figure out two things:
1. How to implement an attachment
2. How to send the email without having to hit the "send" button in Gmail

@jwtyler That's what I figured. I wonder how hard it would be to write an email client...
Ha. Either way, thanks a lot!

It works great!
I only have to press the Sent button in the E-mailapplication.
Is that correct?
Is there also a way to sent the mail automaticly?
