  • Great video, loved this demonstration of Don't Go Off Wandering, one of the best tracks on Significant Other in my opinion.

  • If I hear that song one more time.. Ahh fuck here it comes again.

  • Limp Bizkit = Gay

    Wes Borland = Awesome.

  • at 0:48 i was like holy fuck O_o

  • anybody know the song in between his demenstraitions

  • I will kill you only for the fuckin interruptions!

  • enough with the fucking interruptions

  • If they re-released all of Limp Bizkit's albums without vocals, I'd buy 'em.

  • subtitles: blah blah blah check check check check check check check blah blah blah

  • Anyone else hate the fact that they keep playing that clip of him live while dubbing in My Way?

  • 4:30.

    What name of this song?

  • @eKate313 The song is Don't Go off wandering

  • Wes also went to Mayones Guitars in Poland and got a guitar from them. But I can't tell either he bought it, or got it free for endorsement. Mayones makes cool guitars, there're videos here on YouTube of different guys playing these instruments. I even seen a guy playing 8 string Mayones

  • Wes borland is GOD 0_0

  • Wes borland is GOD

  • Fuck, I love this guy. Limp Bizkit was over the immediate moment Wes left the goddamn band.

  • Hi people. I uploaded a clean version of this video without the "check out the melody" bullshit.

    watch?v=_vNUWWasENw

  • i really do not like limp bizkit, but wes borland an amazing guitarist out of limp bizkit songs

  • that acoustic sound always amazes me...lmao makes me want one :(

  • i know a lot of people hate limp bizkit and i can understand it to an extent. i have no respect for fred durst as a musician or an artist. but i think some of the members of limp bizkit are talented... wes borland being number one. i think he's a good guitarist.

  • @formusicplaylist1 Why do people hate em? I used to love em when I was a kid.

  • i always like wes borlands dreamy style guitar playing

  • How long was he with Ibanez before he went to Yamaha?

  • @StephenFiorentini Wes Borland went to Ibanez,to Paul Reed Smith,to Yamaha

to Jackson, and i believe back to Ibanez(Wish he'd make up his mind?!)

  • 0:49

  • 220 didnt check out the melody

  • All those cut screens ruined the video.

  • What the hell? I though Wes of all people would never play a guitar with such appalling fret buzz!!!

  • lol when he said limp bisket at the start

  • only good thing from limp bizkit

  • he is awesome :) and i think checking out the melody would be a good idea.

  • This guy made Limp Bizkit

  • If you don't want to check out the melody, check out my edited video of this. Without stupid My Way intersections.

  • im glad i checked out this video

  • How does he get the hollow sound at 4:44? I know it's a delay pedal but what other effect?

  • @ed391929 from the clean to distortion? or what do you mean?

  • i saw wes borland,

thought it'd be an awful vid, because, limp bizkit. but the guy is alright, knows what he's doing.

  • thumbs up if you only play ibanez.

  • @MuMbOjUmBo454 k5 baby

  • @MuMbOjUmBo454 Ibanez 7 String bro

  • @MuMbOjUmBo454 hell yeah!! Ibanez !!!!!

  • i dont understand, how works this switch? change from clean to distorsion from one amp? or there is 2 amps conect to the guitar?

  • @WesfruD 2 Amps, There are 2 output in this guitar

  • cool stuff

  • isnt was in a band as a vocalist, i keep seeing it on skuzz but i never look at the title

  • @ArchReconOps i think maybe his other band Black Light Buns

  • @ArchReconOps sorry thats suppose to be Burns

  • this vid is so old

  • wow he doesn't look nearly as douchy without the makeup... looks like a dude you could go drink a few beers with.

  • @Ledjar

    Beer is auto-douche

  • what does he plays at 1:40 ?

    it sounds familure

    song name ?

  • @weizman123

    my way

  • @weizman123 it seems floods by pantera..the solo at the end of the song (outro)

  • @METAL666MILITIA

    na it aint this

    something else

  • Muito muito foda

  • check

  • 0:50 that soud is complete tits.

  • The song at 1:34 sounds like Pantera's Floods

  • does anyone know if wes still uses PRS guitars? cause he has used those more than ibanez an his yamaha

  • @daylantin He plays Jackson now.

  • @streatcarp he is endorsed by yamaha though he used a jackson for gold cobra though

  • i wish he would bring back this guitar

  • whats the name of the song he is playing at 1.37? thanks

  • his voice is so sexy!!

  • wow who the fuck thought this was good editing? can't listen to him for more than 20 secs without CHECK CHECK CHECK CH CH HC HC HCHCHECK

  • man i used to be so inlove with this guy!

  • Ibanez, get your shit together and make these again!

  • what is that song at 0:07

  • is like 3 minutes of check check... and 2 minutes of interview

  • Holy fret buzz Batman!

  • @J89898080 It kinda add to the tone, I like it. With a clean channel, that is.

  • 0:03 what is the name of the song?

  • @Evangelivm My Way

  • Just beautiful!

  • wow. didn't know he could actually play guitar. limp bizkit is such crap.

  • worst edited video ever

  • he's cool i like how he prefers the more natural sound without much digital bullshit.

  • I wonder if I should check out the melody.

  • PRS all the way

  • MrNoodle I agree, its all I ever read. People constantly hating about who plays better. At the end of the day its about the song and any emotional response from the listener.

  • @ritter89 I love it when morons on youtube make comments like these. It's like every one of them is a musical expert now. "Nah bro, I listen to the coolest shit, trust me bro, when you riff like this it's because..." Shut the fuck up. Not playing is not the same as not being able to. It's not LB's style. Saying guitarist A sucks because he doesn't do what guitarist B or C does is fuckin retarded. Then you'd just have clones of the SAME fuckin artist/style.

  • why are you showing PRS? also?

  • Anyway, Borland is a really underrated guitar player. He's so unique and creative in his playing, and really knows how to put the right mood in a song. I'm glad he's back with Limp Bizkit again now.

  • Facepalm. A video of him demonstrating his new Ibby, and there's a picture of him with a PRS every two minutes. He should have stayed with them. They make incredible guitars. PRS, that is. Not that Ibanez doesn't, but there's something special about PRS.

  • @pmanderson He now uses mostly his signature Yamaha that he designed himself and Jackson Warrior WR-1 . He actually doesn't use Ibanez anymore live or recording.

  • So that's what he really looks like...lol

  • 207 people work for Fender

  • @TheAlmightyCED And when you look through EVERY extreme metal band you will find fender nowhere. Epiphone/Ibanez/Gibson/Jackson/Schecter/Kramer wins again.

That said, Gibson are currently shit and had to remove a poll from their website due to too many negative checks. They replaced it with a "facebook like" button instead or at least something similar to.

  • @MorkaGraven Ever heard of John 5 or Jim Root? They use Fender.

  • @Hazel0Like0The0Nut Good Call! Both AMAZING Metal Guitarists!

  • @garysabin yea and yngwie malmsteen

  • insane guitar

  • Damn Wes is cool! One of the most under rated guitar players out there today

  • there is a good guitar player in limp bizkit? wow, i didn't see that coming.

  • really cool guitar, the dist switch fucking rules

  • @1fetoch1ful

It's Piezo switch, not distortion. Piezo pickups replicate the jumbo acoustic sound. I know, i own this guitar on the video!

  • if this guitar were neck thur, it would be the best guitar in the world: neck thru constrution, 7 string, piezo, beauty guitar (sorry flor my englsh, i'm still learning)

  • @TuGinecologo

well, i own this guitar (check out my videos)... and it is the best guitar i've ever owned

  • this shit is gay as hell

  • @ghostrocktheband don't insult yourself

  • discontinued model..... whyy!!!!

  • i want it

  • 0:48 - 0:51 : awesome

  • very cool guitar, i luv the versatility that is available at your fingertips...

  • 1:34 "Floods" rip off.

  • @megaman9000 Dude yeah man, i thought that bit sounded familiar, good ear man!

  • @megaman9000 Yep.

  • am i the only one who finds it conflicting/ironic that in the cuts he is shown playing a prs when he is plugging an ibanez product?

  • @jb4966 He was playing Ibanez then ditched the extra string schtick and stuck with PRS. I think he just doubles the highest string with his Ibanez anyways so its all good on a detuned 6 string.

  • @ConspireToConspire if by 'stuck with PRS' you mean plays a Yamaha signature regularly now, then yes.

That said, he switches around a lot anyway.

  • I dont think that there is any Fretbuzz. Distortion part sounds pretty same as on the album and clean part is a bit distorted. By the way I really dont think he would play with fretbuzz on TV... It sounds more like lightly distorted clean channel.. Wes doesnt ussually use Mesa Boogie for clean sound because he doesnt like that distortion in clean channel too.. so he uses Roland for clean sound. He's known for playing most complex chords in metal music so he doesnt suck.. trust me :-)

    Nice work

  • Nice. I love Dont go off wandering :-)

  • No guitarist will say that it's convenient ...

in short: stepping on a pedal is a lot more convenient ... which gives u fast switching when your hands r playing

  • "Yeah my band does like fuckin everytthing get me"

  • Comment removed

  • AWESOME. Except for the gay ass editing

  • from 1:34 to 1:54 he nearly plays the bridge of "my way"

  • not the biggest limp bizket fan but I'd try it , big fan of piezos and those look like Dimarzios in it. weird I thought Wes didn't use guitar picks....

G# I had a 7 string I built in, good times ... its C# tuning with a G# on the top, if you want to do it right on a 6 string get the thickest electric strings you can get.

  • Wow... RG 7CST eh? was it custom built for him?

  • @IMHOLUKE no, theyre just rare. very limited production

  • @IMHOLUKE nope, not custom made for him. 18 were made, 3 for wes 15 for shops. I own one. Check my vids!

  • pavada de guitarra tenos eh?! jaj

  • is that message in a bottle at 1:40 ? souns awsome :)

  • @KoboLT95 My Way when u listen to it

  • what tuning?

  • @H75119847 It's like a Drop B tuning, except the 6th string is a C# instead of a B. The 7th string is a G#.

  • i wish they'd have a real guitar player demonstrate ibanez.

  • @McPickleswami at the time he was one of the biggest ibanez players. besides to boys from Korn

  • @McPickleswami that may be true, however, he played in limp bizkit, and that probably didn't showcase his talent.

  • @McPickleswami i agree. fuck nu metal

  • @McPickleswami he was actually pretty talanted. they just didnt really use it in limp bizkit. but hes actually pretty good and really knows his stuff when it comes to pickups, trems, tonewoods, hardware, etc. hes far from guitarded

  • they need to remake this it would be incredibly fun to play and to experiment with for metal

  • @dannyzep92 buy mine. see my videos

  • Man, what a cool guitar and it was so wasted on him and he didn't even keep it. That maple top is absurd!

Taking into account the John Petrucci model, the cool J customs of the time and the other piezo guitars (double edge) I have to say the early to mid 90's was an awesome time for Ibanez.

  • @GuillermoSmyser This particular guitar in the video is an Ibanez RG7 CST. Only 18 of these were made. Only 7 were sold in the USA. Wes Borland still owns this guitar, he just never uses it in the studio anymore. This guitar is well worth over 30,000 dollars in the USA.

  • @jacobdallen2

what exactly makes that guitar special? It's Ibanez.

Is it the material and custom-built stuff?

  • @gombie These guitars were made to be a high-end model. In Japan, you would have bought one of these things for over 5000 USD, and in the US, probably 10,000. This is one of the few guitars that featured a piezo system on a locking tremolo. That's one reason why it was so expensive.

  • @jacobdallen2

I call bullshit. The there were 18 made, 15 of them sold in shops and 3 for wes. the guitar was 3000 dollars when it came to the market (well, dollar was very high in 1999, nowdays the price would have been 4000). I own one, you can see my vids for proof. And i am selling mine.

  • @jacobdallen2 I know what it is. I didn't know he kept it. What's ironic about there being so few is that it was a "production model" and they just didn't make that many. But nobody actually deals it for that much. Rare ibanez guitars are surprisingly affordable. There are as many or few ART1 guitars and they go for around 3000 last I heard.

  • @jacobdallen2 buy mine... see my vids.

  • What's the song right at the beginning ?

  • @camsell456 the song at the beginning of the video is "my way"

  • i fuckin hate limp bizkit but wes borland is one innovative and talented guitar player.

  • @NickFerraroAwesome why do u hate 'em?

  • thnx for sharing it

  • I think it's funny that in the little segue thing with the live shot, Wes is playing a PRS. :P

  • the demo song has a name?

  • Wes is fucking awesome!

Anyone know what riff that was at the end? (if it was a Limp Bizkit riff...)

  • @fenderJRtelecaster it was from 'Don't go off wandering.'

  • long may nu metal rot in obscurity

  • interesting - except for the annoying "check check check" interrupting every 2 min.

  • @KutWrite i wish it was every 2 min... its more annoying than that

  • @KutWrite more like every 30 seconds

  • he doesnt use this anymore...that sucks...

  • this video was edited extremely poorly and was annoying as hell to watch

  • FRETBUUUUZZ

  • @Blader999 yeah, but you know why? wes is a genius. and LOW ACTION is where it's at!

  • @SaintUdnitz Dude, look at my Ibanez review. Klick on my channel and look, I show you how low my action is, on a 200€ guitar. And there is NO fretbuzz at all!
